3. Useful in making papers: Books are so important in record keeping, calculations, historical documentations and for many other purposes. However, books are made of paper and paper is gotten from trees.


4. Trees beautify the environment: An environment with trees is always a beautiful one. From their green look in the rainy season to their brownish or dull look in the dry season, trees always add to the beauty of the areas where they are situated.


5. Trees help in preventing climate change: Excessive levels of carbon dioxide is responsible for the greenhouse effect which leads to a global warming or at least a change in climate but trees help in preventing this by absorbing the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.


6. Trees prevent noise pollution: Trees when planted in strategic position in
noise polluted areas are able to reduce the amount of noise heard drastically.


7. Trees provide shade: A tree provides shade and cools the environment where they are found.

Though, most drugs are obtained from synthetic sources, trees still remain important in the making of medicines.


9. Trees provide food: Some trees produce yummy� and edible fruits (orange� and Apple �). Some of these fruits can be further processed into fruit juice.


10. Trees provide firewood: Trees when cut down and dried can be used as firewood for cooking in rural parts of the world, in bakeries for baking and to warm homes in winter.
