(CAF) president, Ahmad has explained his frustration with the poor showing of the five African nations at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia. Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal and Morocco  failed to move into the knock out stages. It was the first time since 1982 this has occurred.

The African teams conceded 26 goals against 15 scored, with Morocco managing just a draw as their best result, while Egypt returned home pointless.
“It’s a thin and worrying record,” Camfoot quoted Ahmad as saying. “None (of the African teams) managed to pass through to the second round. Why such a rout? Yet our continent is perceived as a universal reservoir of talent. Yet we have an audience envied by the whole world.

apart from bias officiating against africanas,our style of football is very predictable..

This is something this CAF President should work on, considering the fact that this is the first world cup held in his administration. Under Issa Hayatou, African teams were performing better than this.

Moreover, many African leagues aren't competitive and well organized again, unlike before.
