A task force officer was, today, transported on a car bonnet from Rupokwu roundabout to Airforce base in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, while trying to help a policeman catch a driver.

According to a passenger in the car, the officer was trying to delay the driver so that the policeman would catch up with him, but unfortunately for him, the driver was aware of his antics and drove off.

The car was hotly chased by the policeman till they got to the Airforce base, where an official of the Nigerian Airforce intervened and protected the driver against arrest. He later prevailed on them to make peace and go their separate ways.
