How Nairalanders Can Change Nigeria For Good by 10mobile: 1:11am On Sep 10, 2018 |
Yeah, I know it's not all Nairalanders who are goodwilled towards our embattled country. But I'm very optimistic that we have up to 50% who are, and that's all we need to change this place for good & fast. How to do this is by engineering a network of this simple democracy education enunciated below & a little more if need be: One big reason our political reps fail to do well is that Nigerians generally, are not quite aware of the powers they have & can wield over those who represent them. On the contrary, if they demonstrate an awareness of these powers, their reps will tread carefully rather than posing as lords. One huge power the law gives the masses over their reps - & which virtually no one seems to realize - is the right to INITIATE a recall of reps who don't rep well. Imagine! Just anyone can start the process anywhere. So please, let every goodwilled Nairalander help remind Nigerians of this power/duty until it is common knowledge. #TheRecallRevolution. Pls tell Mynd44 & lalasticlala to help. |
