Synopsis

In recent times, Inter-ethnic marriages have become quite commonplace in Nigeria ; a surprising phenomenon because even up until the eighties, inter-ethnic unions were highly discouraged and even considered taboo among a lot of Nigerian cultures.

So what’s changed and to what do we owe this change in perception and values?

This documentary showcases the charm and challenges of inter-ethnic marriages in Nigeria today via the lives of three couples and the evolution of the Nigerian mindset towards the ethnic Other.
