SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE THURSDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2020 Holiness TEXT: Hebrews 12:11-16 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). Holiness is a life completely free from sin. A life that has no stain or blemish. Holiness is the nature of God. God desires all His children to be holy as He is holy. No one can be holy without surrendering his life to Jesus. Sin made man to be separated from God. God did not like the separation between Him and man. He therefore sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of the world. Anyone who believes in Him and repents from his sin will be forgiven and cleansed from sin. This is the beginning of having a fellowship with God. After this first step, one must strongly desire and pray for the sanctification experience. This is the blessed experience that gives the believer holiness of heart and life. It is referred to as the second work of grace. Holiness gives unlimited access into God's presence. God answers the prayers of one who is holy. God desires that you should be holy as He is holy. He promised to make you holy, and He has made provision through the shed blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse all outward and inward sin. Anyone who fails to be holy will not get to heaven. Repent now and be made holy. • PRAYER: Dear God, keep me holy so that I will see You. • FURTHER READING: 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 See more here:

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 22, 2020 Love The Lord TEXT: Deuteronomy 6:1-7 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deuteronomy 6:5). God is love. He first loved us. He has deep love for mankind and gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. God loved us even when we were still sinners. He saved us and called us to be His children. A child of God must love God in return. Anyone who has not received the love of God cannot love God. Disobedience to the word of God is because we do not love God. Loving God must come from the heart. If you love God, you will do His will and keep His commandments. This is the mark of true love for God. God wants you to love Him with all your heart. There are practical ways to show your love to God. Receive His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and be saved from sin. Listen to His word, read it every day, think on it, hide it in your heart and obey all His instructions. Then share with others all that you have learnt from God's word. Show love to those you come across, share what you have with the needy, pray for others and let your life be a shining light in your community. Loving God demands that you live for Him both day and night. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to love You with all my heart. • FURTHER READING: Psalm 97:10 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE MONDAY FEBRUARY 24, 2020 No More Fear TEXT: Romans 8:15-21 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father" (Romans 8:15). Fear is an inner feeling that causes doubt. It is the state of mind of someone who is afraid. Fear causes unnecessary worry and anxiety. Fear can hinder one from trusting God because you don't know what will happen next. Some children fear what will become of them in life. Some have the fear of failure. Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear has caused delay or total hindrance of success for many children. God sent Jesus, His only Son, to die for us. Anyone who accepts Christ becomes a child of God. A child of God receives the Spirit of God. He/She now has faith in God and there is no place for fear again. The Spirit of God takes away every spirit of fear and gives assurance and faith in God. To constantly overcome fear, you must abide in Christ, daily meditate and memorize the word of God and live always in obedience to its commandments. Today, you can surrender your life to Jesus if you are still living in sin. It is only when you are saved that you can be free and receive the Spirit of God that will keep fear out of your heart and life. • PRAYER: Dear God, deliver me from every fear and give me your Holy Spirit. • FURTHER READING: Psalm 27:1-50 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE TUESDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2020 You Must Be Born Again! TEXT: 1 Peter 1:18-25 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23). The kingdom of God is for those who are born again. A natural man is a sinner. When he surrenders his life to Christ, he receives the life of Christ and becomes born again. He becomes a new creature who will no longer live in sin. God hates sin. A sinful child must turn away from sin before he can see God. The lyrics of a song goes thus: "A ruler once came to Jesus by night, To ask him the way of salvation and light; The Master made answer in words true and plain, Ye must be born again!" There's no other way to be saved. You must be born again! Repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness and cleansing in the blood of Jesus. You will receive the new life in Christ. Then, you will see God in heaven, after your life on earth has ended. • PRAYER: Give me a new life, oh Lord, so I will see You in heaven at last. • FURTHER READING: John 3:3-7 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 26, 2020 Miriam: A Faithful Watchman TEXT: Exodus 2:1-8 "And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him" (Exodus 2:4). During the time that Moses was born, the reigning king decided to kill every male child born by the Israelites, so as to diminish the strength of the children of Israel and curtail their growth. It was during this period that Moses was born. Moses was kept by his parents for three months, after which they decided to keep him by the river, since it was now too risky to keep him at home. Then, someone was needed to watch over baby Moses to see what will become of him. The faithful watchman was Miriam. Although she was still a very young girl, but she was given this great responsibility. She was found faithful. She watched without distractions, she watched with devotion, with dedication, with a mother's heart and with boldness. Unlike the story in the book of kings, when a servant was asked to watch over someone committed to his hand but he came with the excuse of being busy here and there. Miriam was committed and obedient to the task she was given, you should desire this virtue also. Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well. Give your best in all you do, especially in preaching the gospel to sinners, and God will bless you. • PRAYER: Dear Lord, make me a faithful watchman to my younger ones and the sinners around me. • FURTHER READING: 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SATURDAY MARCH 21, 2020 From Nothing To Something TEXT: 1 Kings 17:8-16 "For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth" (1 Kings 17:14). The widow at Zarephath had nothing but a handful of meal to eat with her son before they died. It was this widow that God sent Elijah to for his needs (daily food). God's ways are different from the ways of man. He does things to make us trust Him. He has power to make something out of nothing as He did when He created the world. Elijah did not query God for sending him to the needy widow, neither did the widow disobey Elijah in supplying his needs, despite her state of poverty and lack. Walking with God and putting Him first in your plans will bring blessings and fruitfulness. Are you presently in need, no money for school fees and feeding at home, or sickness in your body, or you are not doing well in academics? No adequate clothing and health care? What do you need? There is nothing that you need that God is not able to supply. So, have faith in God. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to trust You for the provision of all my needs. • FURTHER READING: Philippians 4:19 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE WEDNESDAY MARCH 25, 2020 Signs Of His Coming TEXT: Matthew 24:3-13 "And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?" (Matthew 24:3). Many today want to know what the future holds. The disciples of Jesus in our Bible passage wanted to know what the signs of the end of the world will be. Signs are proofs or indications to know what would happen so that necessary steps could be taken to avoid danger or loss. Our Lord Jesus Christ explained the signs and events that will happen before the end of the world. This is to enable His friends to be ready for His second coming and escape troubles of the great tribulation. Some of the signs of the coming of the Lord include: multiplication of evils in the world, war and rumours of war, earthquake, pestilence and diseases, false prophets and teachers deceiving many, worldliness and love of the things of this world will be a common thing among the nations of the world. There will also be lukewarmness and backsliding among friends of Jesus. Today, we see the manifestation of these signs everywhere. Friends of Jesus are therefore advised to be steadfast and watchful so they will go with the Lord when He comes. Sinners are to repent and turn from their wicked ways now before it is too late. • PRAYER: Oh Lord, make me ready for Your coming. • FURTHER READING: Luke 21:35, 36 See more here: 1 Like 1 Share |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SUNDAY MARCH 29, 2020 Deed Of Kindness TEXT: 2 Kings 4:8-17 "Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither" (2 Kings 4:10). The Bible commands us to "use hospitality one to another without grudging." The Shunamite woman and her husband did not have enough space at first; they made a plan and did what they could to give accommodation to Elisha, the prophet of God. You might not be able to invite others to your home now, but you can share what you have with those who have need. For example, you could show a new person at school how to find his way around and also introduce him to your friends. You can also be friendly to new comers at church so that they will look forward to coming again. Simply share whatever good things you have with others, even if it is a smile! This type of kindness is what we call hospitality. The Shunamite woman was barren though she had every other thing. Her dees of kindness made her to receive a miracle baby. God will always reward you when you give a helping hand to somebody in need. Always do good. It is good to do good! • PRAYER: Lord, help me to show someone how much You love him/her. • FURTHER READING: Romans 12:10-13 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE THURSDAY APRIL 02, 2020 Danger Of Half Truths TEXT: Acts 5:1-11 "And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet" (Acts 5:2). Half-truth means incomplete truth. It also means lying or falsehood and deceit. Little Mary ran to the door and opened it for the visitor. "Where is your mum?" The visitor asked. "She is sleeping!" Mary replied. However, Mary's mum was lying down on the bed but she was not asleep! As Mary's conscience troubled her for speaking half-truth, she justified herself and said: "after all, she is lying down on the bed, that means she is sleeping." A lot of children indulge in saying half-truths and do not feel sorry for what they have done. This is very bad. Ananias and Sapphira are also examples of people who spoke half-truth about the land they sold. Both of them died the same day. The Gibeonites, during the time of Joshua, told lies and were made perpetual slaves to the children of Israel throughout their generations. Lying and half-truth are twin brothers that can lead boys and girls to hell fire. Half-truth is bad, therefore, avoid it. God wants all sinners to repent and turn away from sin, otherwise they will end up in hell fire. Believers and friends of Jesus should speak the truth at all times. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to always speak the truth without being afraid. • FURTHER READING: Revelation 21:8 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SUNDAY APRIL 05, 2020 Elijah Is Taken Up To Heaven TEXT: 2 Kings 2:7-14 "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven" (2 Kings 2:11). Most people desire to go to heaven, but few think about how they would get there. To get to heaven, our bodies have to be changed. God will give us new heavenly bodies, and for this to happen, our bodies must die. Elijah went to heaven without actually dying. What a way to go! If you had a choice, you would probably like to go that way too! For friends of Jesus, this will actually happen when Jesus comes for us. Jesus said that He is coming back in the clouds to take us to heaven. He will come at a time no one expects, and those who love Jesus will meet Him in the air and we shall be changed in an instant and be with Him forever. Therefore, you must be ready at all times so that you can be one of those who will go straight to heaven without dying. To be ready, you must turn away from sin, accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and live a holy life. • PRAYER: Lord, make me holy and ready for the rapture. • FURTHER READING: 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE MONDAY APRIL 06, 2020 He Watches Over You TEXT: Psalm 33:13-20 "Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy" (Psalm 33:18). One of the best ways that man has developed in providing security twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, is by means of a Close Circuit Television (CCTV). It is an unmanned remotely monitored video camera system for security purposes. It is capable of capturing images of individuals within a specified building. It is therefore one of the best ways of providing security in a building to ensure that thieves and other undesirable individuals do not break into it without being detected. With a CCTV, people feel protected because it makes life safer since it makes it possible for criminals to be caught in the act and arrested to face punishment for their sin. If ordinary human beings can develop a system that can monitor a building and everything that happens around it 24/7, how much more the Almighty God who created the heavens and the earth and all that dwell within them? God is always watching over His children to protect and shield them from every form of danger that may befall them. God's protection is sure for His children whose hearts are perfect towards Him. These are friends of Jesus who have said goodbye to their naughty lifestyles and are now living daily in obedience to His word. Why don't you give your life to Him now so that His eyes will always watch over you? • PRAYER: Lord, I yield my life to You. I pray that Your protective eyes will always be upon me. • FURTHER READING: 2 Chronicles 16:7-9 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SATURDAY APRIL 11, 2020 Just Say "No" TEXT: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" (2 Timothy 3:5). We are in a world filled with sin and sinful pleasures. Everyone wants to be free to do what pleases him/her and not God. They attend fellowships and "Christian programmes" where they can dance throughout the service without reading the Bible or praying. All they want is just to have fun even during the worship and service of God. Many cheat in examinations, steal, fight, disobey their parents and they feel good and see nothing wrong in what they do. They have dropped their Bibles just to enjoy sin and pleasures of the world. They attend parties, sing songs and dance to music that does not glorify God. They put on scanty dresses that does not cover their unclothedness, they pollute the house of God. To remain a true friend of Jesus, you must be different and separate from the sinful ways of the world. Take your stand and make sure you are following the footsteps of Christ. Run away from bad friends and those that will lead you to sin. When Satan, sins and sinners come calling on you, just say "NO" and stand firm for Christ. • PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be separate from sinners and to stand for You. • FURTHER READING: 1 Timothy 6:11-14 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE MONDAY APRIL 13, 2020 Elisha Heals The Waters TEXT: 2 Kings 2:19-22 "And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land" (2 Kings 2:21). Elisha performed many miracles. One of such miracles was the healing of the waters at Jericho with salt. The people of Jericho stated that Jericho had no problems apart from the fact that the water was bad and the land was barren. Elisha asked for a cruse of salt and cast it into the spring of waters. He asked God to heal the waters and the land, and it was so. Elisha was a prophet of God and God used him to solve the problems of the people. When Jesus was on earth, He went everywhere preaching the word of God, healing the sick and delivering those who were possessed of the devil. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Whatever be your problem, He will solve it. Today, it is not a must for you to see Jesus physically, but you can see the prophets, like pastors and preachers of the word of God. If you obey their words, you will receive miracles. Healing is a promise of God to you. Ask and you shall receive. If you are a sinner, your life is full of sin. Receive Jesus into your heart and be healed. • PRAYER: Oh God, heal everything that needs to be healed in my life. • FURTHER READING: Acts 10:38 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE TUESDAY APRIL 14, 2020 Jesus: The Miracle Worker TEXT: Acts 10:36-43 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him" (Acts 10:38). A miracle is a wonder. It is an extraordinary event or experience made possible by God which is beyond the ability of man. The Bible has many records of miracles that Jesus did. Jesus stated clearly that with man some things are impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Every problem taken to Jesus will definitely receive solution. Jesus is God's solution to all our problems. There is nothing the Lord Jesus cannot do. He forgives sin, walked upon the sea, raised the dead, made the lame to walk, made the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak, healed the lepers and healed the woman with the issue of blood among many other miracles. What miracle do you need today? Ask and it shall be given to you. • PRAYER: Lord, I believe You can do all things, work wonders in my life today. • FURTHER READING: Matthew 11:4-6 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE WEDNESDAY APRIL 15, 2020 Forgiveness TEXT: MATTHEW 18:15-22 "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother" (Matthew 18:15). As we interact with one another every day, there is the tendency that we might offend one another. But the Bible teaches us to forgive even as Christ forgave us. To forgive is divine. It means to pardon. Jane offended Sarah, and Sarah felt very hurt. Jane realised her mistake and went to tell Sarah that she was sorry. Sarah willingly forgave her and they became friends again. As a friend of Jesus, there are people who may have treated you unjustly, stolen from you or even done something worse like accusing you falsely. What should you do to those that wronged you? Always forgive! Why must we forgive? (i) It is the command of God. (ii) It is the condition to receive God's forgiveness. (iii) You set the offender free from sorrow when you forgive. (iv) It shows that we are following Christ's example and we are children of God. Forgiveness is the evidence that you have the love of God. There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love. Forgiveness gives you peace of mind. It makes you continue to enjoy the mercy and blessings of God. Ask God this moment for grace to forgive those who have done you wrong. • PRAYER: Father, give me a heart that always forgives. • FURTHER READING: Philemon 1:18-22 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE THURSDAY APRIL 16, 2020 The Sons Of Sceva TEXT: Acts 19:13-20 "And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" (Acts 19:15). It is dangerous to mock or play with holy things. God is not mocked, whatever a person sows, he will also reap. The seven sons of Sceva were Jews who were expected to have the knowledge of the word of God. In fact, their father was a senior priest probably in the synagogue. Yet, none of the seven sons could be said to be good examples of well-trained children. They made jest of the power of the Holy Spirit by trying to cast out evil spirits from a possessed man, but the man with the evil spirit leaped on them and wounded them! Unfortunately, many children today are still following in the footsteps of Sceva's children. They attend church regularly, bear Christian names, have Christian parents, yet they have no regard for God's word. Some of them even play about in the house of God. All these are bad behaviours that can attract God's judgment. The sons of Sceva were disgraced and sent out naked by the mad man. Beware of your actions and attitude towards God's word, His ministers and His house. Have respect for God's word and be an obedient child. If you are still a naughty child, repent now of all your sins and surrender your life to Jesus. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to be a well behaved child. • FURTHER READING: 2 Samuel 2:12-17 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SUNDAY APRIL 19, 2020 Made For God's Glory TEXT: Isaiah 43:11-21 "This people have I formed for Myself; they shall shew forth My praise" (Isaiah 43:21). Some children do not realise the great privilege they have as friends of Jesus. As a result, they become easily discouraged when they are faced with different challenges. Some will say, "Why me Lord, am I so little and of no value?" Worse still, some will think and speak as if it was better for them to remain in their naughty ways and not have given their lives to Jesus. They often wonder, like Peter who asked the Saviour, Jesus Christ: "Behold we have forsaken all, and followed Thee; what shall we have therefore?" The truth is that God has specially made all born-again boys and girls for Himself and for His glory. As a child of God, your life therefore must always shine and portray His holiness, the honour and great riches of His kingdom which He has promised and given unto us. As you go out today, you should remember that you are a child of God, who is able to do all things. Don't allow anything, no matter how small or big, to defile or discourage you. Remember, as a friend of Jesus and a child of God, your life MUST shine and show forth the praise and glory of God. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to glorify You in all I do. • FURTHER READING: Ephesians 1:5-12 See more here: 1 Share

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE WEDNESDAY APRIL 22, 2020 Beware Of Where You Go And What You See TEXT: Genesis 34:1-7 "And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land" (Genesis 34:1). The eye has been described as the window or gateway into our souls. What we see with our eyes often affect our actions and lifestyle either positively or negatively. Therefore, when we deliberately go to places that are not good for us, it will affect us, and the outcome can be very dangerous to our lives both now and in eternity. Dinah, the only daughter of Jacob, went out for an aimless sight seeing and careless visitation. She went to see the fashion and lifestyle of the ungodly daughters of the land. That singular act put Dinah into serious danger, and she lost her godly heritage. Also, because of her, a whole community was completely wiped out, and this stirred up anxiety and fear in Jacob, her father. She was not remembered for any good thing in the Bible. There was also no record of what eventually became of her. As a friend of Jesus, you must be careful of things you desire, where you go and what you see. Live strictly by the instructions of the word of God and do not love the world and the things of this world. The desire to go and see has destroyed the salvation and even the lives of many children. Disobedient children do not realize that their parents' restrictions and discipline are for their present and eternal good. What you go to see out there in the world can pollute your mind, ruin your life and eventually damn your soul. Therefore, "Be careful little eyes what you see!" • PRAYER: God my Father, help me not to stray away from Your protection, and from the care of my parents. • FURTHER READING: Proverbs 4:20-27 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FRIDAY APRIL 24, 2020 Forgiveness TEXT: Colossians 3:12-17 "Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye" (Colossians 3:13). God commands that we should forgive those who offend us as He has forgiven us. Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which someone undergoes a change in feeling and attitude regarding an offence. It doesn't really mean you are the one at fault, but just to make peace and to make God happy, you just have to forgive. God commands us as Christians and as His children that we should learn to always forgive our friends, classmates, siblings and neighbours. God stated clearly in His word that if we want to get forgiveness from Him, and also want to get to heaven, we must forgive all those who have offended us. Reach out to those who have offended you and settle with them. Show by your action that you have truly forgiven them. • PRAYER: Oh Lord, please give me the grace to always forgive all who offend me. • FURTHER READING: Ephesians 4:32 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SATURDAY APRIL 25, 2020 Result Of Disobedience TEXT: Hebrews 10:26-31 "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31). God's word is the guide for our lives. When we disobey God, we make Him sad. He desires that we keep His commandments and walk in His ways. We sometimes take the easy way out and turn away from Him. God frowns a lot at disobedience and anyone who is disobedient to God's word cannot be God's friend; even when the angels disobeyed Him, He punished them. When Adam and Eve, the first humans on earth, disobeyed God, He also punished them. He didn't look at the fact that He always communed with them. Disobedience brings punishment because the wages of sin is death. To avoid the grave consequences that accompany bad behaviour or disobedience to God's word, you must make up your mind to obey God. Read God's word, believe it, meditate on its instructions and obey it. Then God will bless you. • PRAYER: God please, in any way I might have sinned against You, by being disobedient to You, forgive me. • FURTHER READING: Romans 6:23 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SUNDAY APRIL 26, 2020 A Tract A Day TEXT: Matthew 28:16-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). A little boy in the neighbourhood always went out to give tracks to passers-by. He made it his daily activity. Then one day, a man asked him why he always shared tracts. He answered and said, "Sir, I share tracts daily because there won't be any to share in hell." The man was so amazed that he surrendered his life to Christ instantly. Like that little boy, you can also preach to others by sharing tracts. Pray in your closet that God will use the tracts to bring many souls into His kingdom. There are many tracts in the Christian bookshop, both for adults and children. Ask your teachers in the church to get some tracts for you. Always make it a point of duty to go everywhere with tracts and prayerfully share it to people around you. God will reward you for your efforts. • PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage and boldness to share tracts to sinners. • FURTHER READING: Mark 16:15-20 See more here:

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE MONDAY APRIL 27, 2020 Lovest Thou Me? TEXT: John 21:15-19 "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me more than these? He saith unto Him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto Him, Feed My lambs" (John 21:15). Love is a strong affection towards someone. When you love someone, you are ready to give your best to the person. Jesus asked Simon Peter a very important question: "Lovest thou me?" Peter's reply was, "Lord thou knowest that I love thee." Do you love Jesus more than the riches of this world? Jesus wanted to know the true intent of Peter's love for Him. Simon Peter loved Jesus. He preached the gospel and brought many souls into the kingdom, and did many signs and wonders in God's Name. Now, the question comes to you, "Do you love Jesus?" If you love Jesus, then why are you not telling your friends about Jesus' love for them? Do you spend hours watching TV, playing football and browsing the internet instead of doing your Saviour's greatest command? How then can you say you love Him? You need to tell God that you are sorry and make a commitment today to show your love to the Saviour by telling others of His sacrificial love for them. If you love Jesus, share His love with others. • PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to love You unconditionally and do Your will in Jesus' Name. • FURTHER READING: John 14:15 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE TUESDAY APRIL 28, 2020 His Only Crime Was Love TEXT: John 3:14-21 "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). God looked down from heaven and had regrets for creating man. He saw the filthiness on the earth and how corrupt and evil it had become. He decided to send the Holy One, Jesus, to come and die for the sin of man and also bring life and light to the darkened world. Christ had to go through a lot of pain for this to be accomplished. He suffered pain for us to be given the right passport for heaven. He suffered shame that we may be saints. He wore the crown of thorns that we may wear the crown of life. He did everything for you to be saved and also have eternal life. Are you a child of God already? If not, make the right choice and decision so that the crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension of Christ won't be in vain in your life. Seek God's mercy, grace and enablement to continue steadfastly following Him until you see Him face to face. • PRAYER: Lord, save me and give me the grace to be holy always so that the suffering of Christ on the cross will not be in vain over my life. • FURTHER READING: 1 John 4:9, 10 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FRIDAY MAY 01, 2020 Pray For Your Ministers TEXT: 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you" (2 Thessalonians 3:1). A story is told of one Pastor who was greatly used by God. Many signs and wonders were done through this man of God. Many people, including hardened sinners, became friends of Jesus through him. But suddenly, his ministry began to decline; the miracles, signs, wonders and salvation were no more to be seen. He therefore decided to go to God in prayer to find out what had happened to him. God told him that all he had achieved was as a result of the prayer of one old woman, a member of his church, who devoted all her life to fast and pray for him; and since the woman died, there had been no serious prayer to back up his ministry. Many of us always ask our Pastors to pray for us without realizing that they too need and desire our prayers. We think they are too strong and do not need our prayers. Our ministers, like Paul, a great Apostle, also need prayers that: 1. The word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified. 2. Our Pastors be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. 3. The faithful Lord may establish and keep His people from evil. How wonderful it will be if you can set aside only twenty minutes every day to pray for your Pastors and teachers. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to pray for all my pastors and teachers. • FURTHER READING: Hebrews 13:17-19 See more here: |

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE SATURDAY MAY 02, 2020 The Good And The Bad Tree TEXT: Luke 6:43-45 "For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes" (Luke 6:44). Trees bear fruits according to their kind. A pawpaw tree cannot bear mango fruits. You are like a tree planted by God, known by men, expected to grow and bear fruit of righteousness. Your words and your actions are fruits that you produce. The fruits you produce should nourish others. Encouraging and comforting words, and godly behaviour, are fruits of a righteous life; while violent and harmful actions, abusive and hateful words, are the fruits of a sinful life. A good child produces good things out of his heart, and an evil child brings out bad things also from his heart. Watch the things you see, hear, do, where you go and friends you keep, because they go a long way to determine the thoughts being formed in your heart which will also affect your behaviour. For you to be free from sin, you should always think on things that are pure and which will not defile your heart so that you can bear good fruits. • PRAYER: Lord, help me to always bear godly fruits of righteousness. • FURTHER READING: Matthew 12:33-35 See more here: |
