Ondo State Government and all security agencies are working hard to tame the insecurities and crimes occurring it the Sunshine State. In conjunction to this, the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu,SAN, led-administration is preparing the 1st Ondo State Security Summit to educate, update and enlighten us on various security themes on Thursday 17th of January 2019.

The Governor Rotimi Akeredolu led-administration will be speaking on many security Issues both solved, pending and support given to Security Agencies.

State Security is not limited to security agencies alone, it is a collective effort. It is our duty within our immediate community to fish out criminals and report all criminal activities for our peace and development.

Examples:
The intervention of the state police led to the arrest of Ajila Oluwaseun’s boyfriend, Ebenezer Adedimola in connection with the killing.
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, commissioned ten Surveillance Boats for Security Patrol along coastal communities of the state by the Naval Forward Operational Base, Igbokoda.

On other security issues, The Ondo State University of Science and Technology, OSUSTECH, Okitipupa will soon begin to run courses in Maritime Education through its partnership with a topflight institution in Maritime studies, it has been disclosed.

The partnership followed the charge of the State Governor to OSUSTECH at the inception of his administration on ways the university could leverage on its proximity to the state’s aquatic potentials, having the longest and deepest coastline in West Africa Sub-region.

In series of meeting with security Chiefs and various stakeholders over the security challenges in the State, Governor Akeredolu has charged security agencies never to relent their efforts until all criminal elements are flushed out in the State.
