It recently appeared on shelves in ASDA

before then I have had a few enquries for it but  didnt know much about so want to make sure I do my homework well well before stocking any new brand of cosmetics.

So Jenny, did the lotion work the wonders on your skin as it said it would on the bottle or is that a story for another day  cool grin

I use jergens shower cream for my bath, can't notice any difference on my body, don't believe it works, just stories,
my sister uses the cream, she has to stop it cos despite the fact that it is expensive, it does not produce any visible difference
Re: by InkedNerd(f): 5:25pm On Aug 27, 2010
I love Jergens, but I only use their Natural Glow collection. Don't usually use lotion very often. I'm more of a body oil/homemade body butter person.
Re: by sweeti14(f): 6:40pm On Aug 27, 2010
Jergens is really good. I've tried the original scent, shea butter or is it cocoa butter now? undecided i'm not sure. The ultra healing worked for me best cuz i've got dry skin.
Re: by Tatase(f): 8:47pm On Aug 27, 2010
I used Jergens for years all through secondary school and some of undergrad (mostly the original cherry blossom scent one, but I also used the Skin Smoothing and Ultra Healing) and it was good. But it no longer really agrees with my skin and so I don't really like or use it anymore.

The original cherry blossom one is really common in Lagos. I see it everywhere. And I've seen the Ultra Healing too and I think some others.

I use Jergens-shea butter, and I don't have any complains. It maintains my skin tone and it's also a very good moisturizer. But I had to stay away from the heavily scented ones like the Jergens-Skin smoothing or cherry blossom, even the skin firming. You know the first time you want to use a product you go for the ones that have a very good scent or fragrance. cheesy But those things just give me pimples. So I had to stick to Jergens sheabutter. And I've been using it for two years now. The scent's mild, that's if there's any scent sef.

@chaircover, Good Morning wink

I use Jergens Shea Butter Body Wash, it's great and one bottle last for ages.

This may now be discontinued undecided.

@ poster

I buy jergens ultra healing and original for my daughter. Its great. The shea butter darkens you. I use the ultra healing when I run out of my own cream and it works for me cos I have dry skin however I have to dab a lot, layering .

In Nigeria as with most things beware of fake products. I only buy from reputable department stores.

good luck on your product search
Re: by Nobody: 2:08pm On Aug 28, 2010

@Jenny, I don't think I will stock it. it seems that there are so many variations of it so dont want to end up with an item on my shelves for too long. Having to dust the shelf every day and seeing it on there will just depress me  cry

I already stock Neutrogena, clean & clear, clearasil, Mary Kay & Avon so will stick to those Jare.

My mum only used olay & Astral cream  tongue but it seems to be a very popular product here in the UK but it seems like an oyinbo cream here; I may be wrong.

As for me I use Johnsons baby oil which has a 1001 other uses  cool I have a bottle in every single room including the kitchen. Everyone uses it in our house. You know, sometines the cheap & cheerful stuff works wonders but I think people have to find out what really works for them.

My Mum uses that also, she said it use to be called ulay undecided when she 1st started using it. She's wrinkly free so I do think it works.
Re: by iice(f): 5:08pm On Aug 28, 2010
^^Yeah it used to be called Ulay. My mom used it too for a long time.

I use the original and Ultra Healing Jergens once in a while. . .Works ok on me. But i'm not picky about lotions. . .i mix all of them together and add petroleum jelly grin
