THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGEIRA JUST PAID THE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE A VISIT.
HE VISITED IKOYI, VICTORIA ISLAND AND MANY MORE PLACES IN LAGOS STATES.THERE WAS MAXIMUM SECURITY FOR HIM .BUT THE IRRITATING PART OF THE STORY IS THAT ALL THE ROADS WERE BLOCKED TO PROVIDE HIM MAXIMUM SECURITY.
NO CARS WERE ALLOWED TO MOVE,NO BIKE ,AND WALKING .
JUST BECAUSE OF ONE PERSON MILLIONS HAS TO WAIT ,TRANSACTION HAS TO BE DELAYED ,PATIENTS GOING TO THE HOSPITAL HAS TO BE DEALYAED . JUST TO PROVIDE MAXIMUM SECURITY TO THE SO CALLED PRESIDENT
I THINK WE ARE RUNNING BY DEMOCRACY .

there is a presidential palace in lagos , it is in the island. And if you look at murtala statement, Lagos is still the commercial capital of Nigeria.

Even Abuja has failed for what the purpose was, it was never for commercial reason , but administrative capital. Non commercial is involve. Nigeria may need a new capital as Administrative capital since Abuja has now become the commercial capital and not the administrative capital. Nigeria needs a new administrative capital.

beg to differ they have excess security when they are visiting other countries, in UK for example you rarely see more than 4 cars with the PM, every other politician probably take the bus or train-the mayor ride a bike! the former mayor takes the train

Jonathan was visiting Lagos not even PH why does he have to block the whole road like an agbero- he could have just flown in an helicopter silly sod; he couldn't even make a statement on police killing civilians all this time he has been president
