Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by lagosian(m): 8:22pm On Apr 26, 2007 |
Do you think the new president can change nigeria? |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by TCUBE(m): 5:22am On May 05, 2007 |
yes he can , if u cuts loose from Obasanjo |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Bankole01(m): 2:48pm On May 05, 2007 |
lagosian: ha ha ha, when you tie a bell around a cat's neck, he can never shake it loose. Yar'adua will never be able to loose his white elephant (Obasanjo) The man don't have the vision to select his own cabinet, opting instead to continue with Obasanjo's tired and corrupt cabinet. Does that portray a man who can shake Obasanjo loose. Yoruba people will say "o ti di egungun eja si lorun" a lodged fish bone in the throat is had shake loose! kadara ti e ni'yen, that is his lot |

while I personally despise the PDP and their illegalness, yaradua is a great friend of my mentor, he is well liked but before we get there, DUE process MUST BE FOLLOWED |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by dblock(m): 3:34pm On May 05, 2007 |

Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by chibaby5(f): 3:56pm On May 05, 2007 |
not jus nigeria needs changing but the people in it. he can try, but people in nigeria need to change their mind set before any big change can be made in that country wahala. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Bankole01(m): 3:57pm On May 05, 2007 |
McKren: Sorry sir, I made a statement i believe in. This is not a contest. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by McKren(m): 4:26pm On May 05, 2007 |
I will simply assume you can not justify the statement you made. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by dblock(m): 5:35pm On May 05, 2007 |
But assumptions are meaningless. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by tlops(m): 5:44pm On May 05, 2007 |
the answer is was he able to change katsina in 8 years, what ever your answer is will give u a clue to whether he'll change nigeria. if u could not change a state how much difference will he make in a nation, especially where there is a god father who does not want a change. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by applec: 6:19pm On May 05, 2007 |

Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Bankole01(m): 8:52pm On May 05, 2007 |
Yes he has promised to do retoactively. Pls read his own words: The President-elect, Umar Musa Yar’Adua, has cautioned members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), that the task of nation building is too important for them to get carried away with the celebrations of his victory in the presidential elections. He said that only the best material will be part of his cabinet in his task of ruling the country. He said this while receiving the P.D.P Presidential Campaign Nationwide Coordinators who paid him a courtesy call at the Akintola Aguda House . Speaking further, Yar’Adua declared,"only the best will be good enough to be part of my cabinet because of my goal to make Nigeria one of the top 20 nations of the world by year 2002."!!!!!!!!!!! Now you all know it. Up Yar'adua up PDP gawment magic continues |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by nigeria1: 10:58pm On May 05, 2007 |
Yes Yar adua would be great president, not by cut away from Obasanjo, but pick up from where he finish, Yar Adua have one spirit that I have notice by what he did before the election, Which I do not want to share before the internet, that thing shows that he as an humble heart, that he is willing to learn and change, With this in mind, He need to pick electricity and make it his project, With the increase of the capacity of the ten new additional 10 power station from about 300 MW each to over 1000 MW each., You see if you have 24 hr election, it solve so much , It increase productivity, productivity increases agric, We need to increase agro allied company and force them to export, That what one of the reason I want Olokola export processing zone to be rename New London export processing zone. It is a business model, When product are made with brand name new london export process zone, it would be a great hit, It is all about marketing, and not about culture or tradiction, It is about competing in the international market, In business name sales. Donald trump tell you this over and over again, Look I have to go, there is more i could say, but not over the internet, I don tell them to put me on the think tank in his govt, it is leave for them to decide. great nation are made by great mind. |

nigeria1: Na so! Is it not all the same brush and canvass? I can't remember any one of the Presidents who didn't rehearse the "humble heart" cue ab initio. We dey wait and pray, hoping for the best! Bankole01: Great observation. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Nobody: 2:25pm On May 06, 2007 |
yar'adua lacks vision for nigeria. that's his achilles heel. all he will do is pander to the multifarious interests of his advisers who, i can definitely assure you, will be supplied by obasanjo. he wont be able to function without the pdp machinery (which has been succinctly described as a 'nest of vipers' by wole soyinka). PDP is a den of thieves and con-men |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Echidime(m): 2:30pm On May 06, 2007 |
ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE NAIJA, NOT A HUMAN BEING.SO YOU PEOPLE SHOULD STOP DREAMING. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by dblock(m): 2:43pm On May 06, 2007 |
Since when did dreaming become akin to Foresight. Nigeria will become prosperous, so long as The people change their ways. You'll be surprised what a convincing impact a ambitious leader can have |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Bankole01(m): 2:48pm On May 06, 2007 |

chi-baby: tlops: the only thing we know about katsina now is yaradua, we dont know what it was like before he got there, how do we know if something has changed without knowing what it was like before? |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by DisGuy: 3:08pm On May 06, 2007 |
People said the same thing about OBJ when he came in- he is being controlled by IBB and the northerners, some even said he will pass the baton to IBB come 2007, now we know |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Nobody: 3:16pm On May 06, 2007 |
has obj changed naija in eight years? where NEPA/PHCN? missing in action. why are our refineries not working? where is okigbo panel report? has he prosecuted IBB for the gulf war windfall? police corruption nko? why is still legitimate to steal in spite of efcc? so long as you are on the right side of OBJ you can take any amount of money from the public till without fear. all these are the legacies IBB bestowed on him by picking him out of debt from his otta farm likewise he's also handing the baton to yar'adua. |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by stimulus(m): 3:34pm On May 06, 2007 |

Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by OMDBaby(f): 4:05pm On May 06, 2007 |
for now we cannot say if he will make a good leader or not but it would have been easier for us to judge if he believed in his people and allowed them to vote him in rather than help himself in. naturally you need the support of your people to rule effectively and not your party cronies who are around you for selfish reasons. for now he has an uphill task of gaining the trust of his people before anything productive can come out of his GOVERNMENT. can you imagine NO HUGE CELEBRATIONS FROM YOUR PEOPLE APART FROM YOUR PARTY MEMBERS.IT TELLS SOMETHING |
Re: Can Yar' Adua change Nigeria ? by Bankole01(m): 7:16pm On May 06, 2007 |
OMDBaby: Tank u o baby, PDP apologists will start to det tell us say na free and fair election! When your people are not celebrating your victory, it portends a grave omen for all |
