The People Of Nuh (Noah)

He came at a time when his tribe
Neglected Allah and took pride
In worshipping the statues of their fathers
As shaytaan deceived them to stray further


He preached day and night,
Warned them hidden and in sight
About the terrible destruction
They took him for jest and humiliation


Rebuked him and called him a madman
He warned them as a young-man
Till he reached nine-fifty years
He kept calling to he that hears

But they grew stubborn, and worshipped
The idols that the devils commanded

So he sought the help of his Lord
And they were overcame by a flood
Gushing forth from above and beneath
That wiped the arrogant from their hearth

But the believers were saved on a property,
Made of planks and nails, sailing to safety

That was the seizure of your Lord
To those who rejected His Word
Became proud and arrogant till the end
And took the respite of Allah for granted

The People of 'Aad

Then there came the people of Aad
Treated the word of their Lord
With jest and humiliated their Prophet
All he wanted was that they Perfect

Their worship to their Creator and Maker
But they called him a fabricator and a liar
They preferred a thousand statues
To the Supreme One, Holy in His Status

He told them about a terrible recompense
But they scorned and told him to bring it all at once
Little did they know that it will be their end
For they took the respite for granted

It came as a cool wind, whistling
Till it began to blow furious, howling
Destroying those who exalted themselves in the lands
For seven nights and eight days, they became hollow fonds

That was the seizure of your Lord
To those who rejected His Word
Became proud and arrogant till the end
And took the respite of Allah for granted

The People of Thamud

Then they came the people of Thamud,
Mighty and powerful in the land,
Hefty was their dwellings,
Palaces in hills and cabins

They took the bounty of their Creator
With ingratitude and prostrated to creatures
Following what was wrong totally
Disbelieving in what was right wholly

The sanctions, their Prophet forewarned
Of ascribing partners to He that Fashioned
And made them into a big Nation
But they disbelieved and asked for a Manifestation

Of a she camel that will come out of a rockery
All in the open to avoid shortcut and treachery
So it was, Allah helped His Prophet and it came
As a fitnah to them

She’s to be spared
But they took a spear
And thrust her belly
By the one who was in folly

For their disbelieve and rebellion
The reparation subdued their stallion
They were shaken with an awful cry
In their homes, they laid dead and dry

That was the seizure of your Lord
To those who rejected His Word
Became proud and arrogant till the end
And took the respite of Allah for granted

The People Of Lut(Lot)

Then there was the people of Lot (Lut)
Obstinate and stubborn, came with a lot
Of unimaginable sins, whims
And desires that the people of old deem

Unimaginable! Unthinkable!
Man to man as able
Marital partners in an affair
Yet it seem good to them and fair

Their Prophet warned them of the Inevitable!
A punishment for the deed was unthinkable!
It is against Allah’s commandment
But they rejected him and asked for the chastisement

Stern in warning, he gave them respite
But to their Prophet, they spite
They scorned and scoffed
So they were seized and cuffed

Upon them fell stones of baked clay
Marked by the Creator for those who went astray
But the believers were delivered
And saved from the evil meant for the wicked.

That was the seizure of your Lord
To those who rejected His Word
Became proud and arrogant till the end
And took the respite of Allah for granted
