YouTube will be removing accurate subcount for all channels in August.
To be more specific if your channel has 1277 subscribers it will read as 1k subcribers until you reach 2k subscribers and nothing else. If you have 52,357,238 subscribers it will read as 52Million until you reach 53Million and nothing else



This has heavy consequences for websites that use YouTube API. For example social blade will no longer be able to provide live subcounts anymore. It will also make future growth predictions from social blade imposible because the website won't have access to the necessary data to make these calculations.

This also means live sub battles like Pewdiepie VS TSeries will cease to exist because the information will be simplified and inaccurate.
