Nominees are many times asked to support the award ceremony in cash... they are given a fixed sum to pay (up to or above half a million )which automatically guarantees them the award.

There are so many awards these days with strange names...

fact is it’s a lucrative business for some ppl who organize it to make money...

it’s very few awards that are based on merit and do not require any financial commitment from the beneficiary.
