Nigeria's population is not exploding. Don't believe all the stories that the West sells you. All that needs to be done is to find workable means of developing the country economically, and to introduce sustainable agriculture. Nigeria can be self sufficient in a decade if the right policies are implemented and if the people get more sense than they are exhibiting presently.

Nigeria's ideal population should be 30 to 50 million. Even the US is overpopulated , I think the ideal population should be 100 to 150 million.
and please do not tell me about the large landmass . I've traveled cross country across Canada and the US and no one else knows more than me the vast uninhabited lands in north America. Only 4 percent of American landmass(Alaska included) is settled by Humans,the rest is empty wilderness,deserts , and lakes. So i'm aware that 10 billion people can live comfortably in the US,but i still think 300 million is overpopulated.
