Some Liverpool fans have voiced out their concern over the assassination of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani who was killed on the 2nd of January 2020 in Baghdad as a result of the drone strike ordered by U.S president Donald Trump. The airstrike was launched because the U.S government saw Soleimani as a threat to the lives of citizens of U.S, that he had to be gotten rid of, so as to safeguard the lives of the citizens of America but this didn't go well with the Iranian government as they promised 'harsh retaliation' against the U.S government.
