You shouldn't have included amount. You should have stated the motive for your request and those whose hearts are touched will help you. You might have gotten more from different people even if is 1k or 2k each from 10 or more people .
Stating the amount have cut off those who who might want to help but don't have up to that.
I usually come at beggers on Nairaland because of many scam begging I have read here,but recently I believe these people here requesting for help. I think it's the result of the lockdown. I feel for you all. God knows I could help but I won't. Because I won't be able to know genuine from those who are just greedy to beg.

mind your words,not everyone asking for financial assistance here is a Scammer.The Person may actually be in dire need of what they asked,just that they dont Know how to put it when asking.

As usual they’ve gotten what they need and can insult anybody they want. Me thinks this is the same person running ten alternate accounts. The personality checks out in all scenarios.
