That's why Nigeria is not moving forward, Northerners have been ruling for that number of years and condition of Nigeria is like this in 2020, this is a clear indication that nothing good will happen in Nigeria in the next 1000 years to come if Northerners keep ruling. My concern is not a capable president from a particular region (which Northerners have proven that they don't have) a capable hand is what we want, thus 1. A president that can retrieve all the private oil wells and channel them to the national development 2. A president that can address the nation and get their feedback 3. A president that can organise press briefing 4. A president that can take the security of his people as priority A president that is a president, u know what I mean 1 Like |

60 years ago when our so called Independence leaders wanted independence, the British said Nigeria was not ready to be an independent nation, they could foresee that the independent leaders just wanted unlimited access to Nigeria's wealth. 60 years after independence, Nigeria in 2020 is worse than it was in 1960. Ask your grandparents, they will tell you that Nigeria was a functioning state before 1960. The independence leaders we celebrate today looted Nigeria's wealth so much that to this day their kids/grandkids/great-grand-kids will never know poverty. October 1st should be a day of National mourning and not celebration. 1 Like |

Kenplay: I know say Nah Igbo person go start this thread. We all know that this is a self-determination undertone. As you are agitating for self-determination, so also some other region are doing so. I don't think this country will survive beyond 2030 before he go pieces to a different sovereign country. |

As far as I am concerned, the south is the problem, the so called igbo people and they are paying for it.this one will say I no be igbo,I be niger delta, the other one will say I no be igbo I be edo, another one go say I be Biafra and so on...they should just make their self one and speak in one voice. |

@GForce2015 It's interesting to see that people like you have started seeing the inevitable disintegration of Nigeria. You even put the date as 2030 max. Your date is even closer than what the so called Igbo agitators might expect. Like or hate them, the Igbo see tomorrow and act today hence setting the pace for novel discussions, questions and directions in a country where most of the other ethnic groups are bereft of critical thoughts. Their agitation has moulded the thoughts of GForce2015 and many others. |

Lanretoye: Why are you so obsessed with the Igbo. You are not Igbo. The biggest problem of the south are the Yoruba who always betray the rest of the south for favours from the north. When I did my NYSC in Sokoto, one of us, Samshudeen, a Yoruba guy, spent all his time outside the classroom going from one group of Hausa men to the other. You needed to see how he bows and kneels before them. He never prayed with his fellow Yoruba Muslims. No, he always looked for a group of Hausas praying and forcefully attaches himself at the rear of the mat. Samshudeen believed that his salvation were the Hausa/Fulani. |

It doesn't matter where the president is from. The only thing that should matter is the education (knowledge base) of the man. But this is Nigeria, even those who should be in psychiatric wards are in power today leading a country as important as Nigeria. |
