S'East APC YPF endorses Anambra nominee, Rev Ibeabuchi, Dr Dankaka for FCC Job

South Eas APC Young Progressive Forum led by Ambassador Otimkpu Paschal Chzoba on Tuesday commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Dr Farida Dankaka and Rev Uche Ibeabuchi as the Chairman and Anambra State Nominee of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

In a statement issued in Awka Anambra State, the Forum described President Buhari’s decision to appoint Dankaka and Rev Uche Ibeabuchi, given their wealth of experience, as a well thought move. They expressed optimism their appointment would be beneficial to all Nigerians irrespective of Religion, Tribe nor state.

It would be recalled that Dankaka’s and Rev Ibeabuchi's appointment was contained in a letter read by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, during plenary on Tuesday 28 April, 2020.

The Forum said the experience of Rev Uche Ibeabuchi as Technocrat and Dankaka as a former President of Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), would assist and help the Commission to achieve its core values and Vision as enshrined in 1999 Constitution. Rev Ibeabuchi is a man of impeccable Character, a man of principle and a community Leader who leadership,integrity and loyalty to a course is never in doubt.

While urging them to exhibit unwavering commitment in the discharge of their duty in the commission, the Leader of the Fourm congratulated the new appointees.

The Forum Leader, Ambassador Paschal Otimkpu also urged Rev Uche Ibeabuchi and Dr Dankaka to use their new offices to serve Nigerians irrespective of tribe and ethnicity, adding that their tenure should leave a mark on the sands of time. He maintained that they have no doubt in the character,integrity and sound Sense of Judgement of the two.

Rev. Uche Ibeabuchi hails from Oba in Anambra State while Dankaka hails from Kwara.
