Living has become even more difficult for working-class people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Millions of workers, farmers, poor traders and other working people could barely feed during the lockdown and without credible distribution of palliatives.
The situation has not been better after the lockdown was lifted. Workers have been laid off or placed on half salaries by many companies. Workers in a lot of small and middle-scale workplaces, such as private schools, have not even paid salaries since the public health emergency started at the beginning of the year. Informal economy workers have been hit with the double blows of starvation and eviction from their communities.
Coalition for Revolution (CORE) brings activists at the fore of struggles to combat these attacks on poor working-class people together for a discussion with you, on what we can all do to fightback and win. Join us on Sunday 19 July from 2.00pm to 4.00pm
