Dr Genevieve Commends Delta Government Over Succour to returnees from Lebanon.

The Senior Special Assistant on International Affairs and Special Duties to the Delta State Governor, Dr Genevieve Mordi has commended the Delta State Government over Succour to returnees from Lebanon.

Dr Genevieve made the commendation known in asaba during the presentation of cash to returnees from Lebanon.

She noted that the Delta State Government over the years has always given succour to returnees which has repositioned them into becoming a better citizens

Speaking further , she said none of the returnees will be abandoned noting that the State Government has taking a decision of rehabilitating returnees.

Dr Genevieve Mordi also called on returnees not to disappoint the State Government rather make use of the financial relief given to them .

She also urged well meaning Deltans to support the State Government in catering for the returnees.

It could be recalled that the Delta State Governmet recently commenced rehabilitation of returnees.

This was made known by the Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa represented by the Chief of Staff Olorogun David Edevbie during the presentation of cash to returnees from Lebanon.
