We don't really know how to go about it or if the documents are still valid, and I don't think my mum has the money for that..

The first paper shows that the bearer being ur Dad used to invest with Union savings and loans back in the days.

As the letter imply,he used to invest his money in that subsidiary owned and managed by the mother bank where his fixed deposit usually warrant him taking his interest on upfront pending maturity.

This documents were simply to serve as the working paper,showing the following:
1. That there was an investment between him and union savings and loan.
2. The time it entered into the investment.
3. The interest agreed.
4. The duration of the contract,also known as the tenor.
5.The amount.
6. As well as the amount given to him as upfront interest.
That is for the first document while others shows some similarities to the former.
