donklint86:currently I just got to Togo, I will continue my trip to Ghana today. This is how it goes. First leg. from mile 2, you can take a taxi to Seme border, it's 4000 Naira. Or you can brake the journey by taking a bus to Agbara-badagry-seme. That will cost you half that price. But be ready to negotiate with immigration if need be Second leg of the journey Take a bike to cross the border. Currently the main border is closed, but you can just pay a bike man to take you through the back road. That will cost you between 2000 to 2500. The bike man will settle all immigration, police, army, custom etc on the way. Make sure you don't pay until you come down Third leg Take a taxi from Seme to Lome. That will cost you 15, 000 Cfa that's about 12,500 Naira. Again the driver will settle everything in the border to Togo. But you may need to come down and walk thorugh the back road again. This journey will tsk you about 4hours Third leg. You will cross the Aflao border (Ghana Togo border) using bikes. It should cost you arround 40 cedis that's about 2880 Naira. Again the bike man will pass through the back road. He will also settle all the immigration etc. When you get into Ghana, you will take a taxi to Accra. It's better you take a taxi and talk to the driver to settle immigration in sogakope. It should cost you arround 65 cedis for the fare and 50 cedis for settlement. Make sure you give the diver all the money and tell him to help you settle. Ghana immigration can be very annoying when it come to Nigerians. That's all, you will arrive in Accra in about three hours. Pls note that this journey will be very long because you are braking the it. And also pls make sure you don't pay any bike in any of the borders till you come down and tell them clearly that they will do all settlement. Safe journey 15 Likes 1 Share |

I percieve security is OK at those locations you took bike for etc. Cos I feel you might be robbed etc considering the timing of the day. |

flinton:You must have your passport, vaccination card, PCR certificate(covid19 test) test must be done within 72hours to travel time and be prepared to pay $150 on arrival at kotoka intl airport for another covid19 test. If the test shows negative, you will be allowed to go to your destination, if positive you go to isolation center. |

Re: Travel To Ghana by Savlamara(f): 12:32am On Nov 03, 2020 |
gentlebullet: This is alot to pay and go through coming from a country that doesn't have many cases. I'm coming from the US and we have many cases of covid but Naija doesn't, plus the cost to Nigerians is very high to pay the same as Americans. |
Re: Travel To Ghana by gentlebullet(m): 1:44pm On Nov 03, 2020 |
Savlamara:The chambers of tourism is already in discussion with the govt for reduction of the test fees against Xmas visitors. If there will be any reduction, then it will be after the elections which will hold on 7th Dec. 1 Like |

Ghana’s land borders are closed. Yes, CLOSED! You risk being shot if you try to enter oooh. You can only travel to Ghana by air or you wait for the borders to be opened. I don’t know why nigerians like to break the laws of other countries like that. Jaycee111: |
