In reality, this lawmaker is responding to the call by Igbos that it's a shame that they own mansions in several cities but no input in agriculture at home going by the recent threat by some northern traders to suspend food supply to the East, wish they have started with onions.



So the gifting of cassava stems is a welcome development for both Eastern and South-Eastern Nigerians, as its time to leverage the power of agriculture



The call to ban food supplies to eastern and southern Nigeria has made many Igbos interested in supporting farmers and agriculture to bring down the cost of food in the South East

If He/ there are serious, they should invest millions into procurement of greenhouses and distribute throughout the region to interested and serious minded individuals with grants to support the initiative. That way, vegetable supply will flow.
