ASUU Strikes: A Generation Across Strikes by ProvisioDigital: 12:10pm On Dec 18, 2020
By December 31, 2020, if the current strike is not suspended, Nigeria will experience a total of 2041 strike days i.e. 5 years, 7 months and 3 days since the first strike was recorded in April 1973.
Whether it is called off this December or not, the 2020 ASUU strike is the longest ASUU strike in Nigeria's history.

Dwindling oil prices leading to shortage of revenue of the Government.

Ridiculously low school fees paid by students.

Mismanagement of funds by Universities' VCs.

Overpopulation of students in various schools.

These 4 points IMO are the reasons for ASUU strike.

I stand with ASUU. If not for them, our universities wouldn't have been any different from what is obtainable in government primary schools.

The Nigerian educational system can be compared to the body of the Titanic at the bottom of the North Atlantic.

It is rotten and utterly useless.

ASUU and strike are brothers and sisters

ASUU na the main super striker in Nigeria

while bubu na head coach.

until the FG can fund the system, ASUU will keep scoring goals.

Nigeria leaders don't want to invest in education... They don't even care,
Before if you have one university graduate in your family na enjoyment oh... Some people spoilt d system and they are still in power today.... Earlier today one lawyer and senior advocate of Nigeria that defended thieves in court was lamenting about graduates I was jst shaking my head...

ASUU is cursed. Whether Nigeria better or not, they will continue to strike. Old fools striking for some Ghana must go bags, loaded with Naira.

If you know. You know.
