Following the release of the abducted over 300 Kankara schoolboys, Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, has said that bandits was responsible for the massive abduction of the released students and not the ‘Boko Haram’ sect. This was stated by the Governor during a media interview on Thursday, December 17. “They are bandits who kidnapped the schoolboys, not Boko Haram.” he said.
