Bayern Munich chief executive Karl- Heinz Rummenigge says it would be great for to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah even as he admitted they have no imminent plans to lure him to Germany.

Salah is currently one of the best forwards in the world at the moment following his move to the Reds from Serie A club Roma in 2017.

The Egyptian’s performances have alerted many of the top clubs in Europe with Rummenigge rating the 28-year-old very highly, comparing him with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, however he is not expecting Salah to arrive at the Bundesliga club any time soon.

“In my opinion, Salah is the Messi of Africa and of course he has the skills to play for the best teams in the world,” Rummenigge told ON Time Sports.

“What he [Salah] has achieved can be compared to what Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo did with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
