The more you are conscious of God as REAL and the more you do so in the person of THE ANOINTED ONE (or THE CHRIST), the more your anointing flows. So, let all your spiritual labors focus on achieving this (cf. Jn. 6:27-29). It actually demands the WHOLE of you (mind, body, emotion, thought, LIFE). Once it happens, everything else about you, takes the best course (see Romans 8:28). That's actually one of the reasons why it is called ANOINTING (something like oil greasing your spiritual engines for best performance).

Then, once the anointing is flowing, whatever makes excessive demand on your inner invisible realities (like concern with money, sex, fear, anxiety, etc) tends to dry up the anointing. Why this happens is very simple to understand: since the anointing flows by you giving your CONSCIOUSNESS to the REALITY of God, it means that whatever takes that consciousness away will take away the flow (because the Presence of God is the only Source of the Anointing).

If you want the Anointing to really be an ocean, make yourself so conscious of God in Christ that NOTHING AND NO ONE ELSE ACTUALLY EXISTS BUT GOD.
