Reports flooding from sources within the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oro/ Ijanikin, Lagos, who vehemently pleaded anonymity for fear of being haunted by the powers that be, have revealed how the outgoing president of the institution's alumni association is hell bent on contesting to retain presidency to cover his numerous atrocities.


According the sources who fed media scoopers who sauntered the campus for news, the embattled president at a recent convention in the school, laid claim to the achievements of other alumni leaderships to curry reputation and favour, obviously to gain election advantage as the poll to fill the various executive positions of the alumni association of the prestigious institution.


Let it interest you that the suspicious lecturer breached legitimate protocols and procedures guiding promotion into the various cadres of academic staff due to his romance with powerful people as a member of the college's governing board.


Leliable gist also has it that he leapfrogged to attain the lecturer one position of the college, evading chronological and statutory rules.


At the recent convention where he lied and arrogated so much successes to his leadership, even those achieved by the academic staff union on behalf of COEASU and Non Academic Staff, situation which would have sparked violent reaction but for the restraint exercised by COEASU members in the hall.


As his sinister and covert plots gather momentum, the keen minds are alert and eyes are vigilant to track his maneuvers, in the days preceding the Alumni Association 2021 election of AOCOED.


Nomination forms for the all important election are already on sale at the alumni association Secretariat, between 9am to 3pm within the stipulated time, and all aspirants are to follow guidelines, such that the incumbent or outgoing president may be desperately planning to undermine to return himself as president.
#100,000, #75,000 and #50,000 are the form rates for the offices of National President, General Secretary, National Financial Secretary, National Treasurer and Other Offices respectively.


Submission of forms will end on 30th July, 2021.
