Corrupt and incompetent Commissioners of the Lagos State government should be held responsible for the tragedies of the collapsed buildings in Ikoyi and Lekki.
The following should be sacked immediately:
Commissioner of of the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure;
Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development;
Officers of the Lagos State Building Control Agency and the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority.

They were not ignorant of the 21-storey building still under construction before it collapsed yesterday.
They were also not ignorant of another storey building that collapsed in Lekki.
