I was discussing with a fellow Christian on the issue of alcohol. We both agreed that on its own, taking alcohol is not a sin but it is not wise because of danger of drunkenness, addiction & causing a fellow believer to fall in faith.

We also agreed a true Christian should not own a beer parlour or shop. But we could not agree on:

*Should a true Christian work in Accounts department of Nigeria Breweries? What about the Sales/Distribution department?

Surely, The Lord made wine and spirits but, every reasonable person knows they have their places exactly as a reasonable person knows not to eat or have sex during working hours in the office.

So, it is a case of "all labour is good" unless and when your heart doth condemn you.

But I have seen that God does not let His Children get such jobs exactly as His children who are Lawyers do not get Divorce and certain types of not-good Briefs even though they are lucrative and people say that there is nothing bad in them.

But God does not accept any small bad at all. Holiness and Guiltlessness is His Way and Standard.

And when you are His, He clearly Leads, so whatever your way, know that it is a very good way, BUT THIS IS ONLY IF THE LORD IS IN DEED YOUR SHEPHERD!

Jesus Christ told you He would take care of you if you will Trust and Obey Him.
