*UNVEILING THE LOGO OF ORON FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY MEDIA PROFESSIONALS* ( *OFCOMPRO* ) .

Oron Federal Constituency Media Professionals is a coalition of frontline Print, Electronic and New Media professionals formed to present a formidable platform to galvanise the people of Oro Nation ( Oron, Mbo, Urue Offong/Oruko, Okobo and Udung Uko LGAs)* towards a common good for the improvement of her people's collective socio-economic and political welfare through a strategic media engagement.

We are poised to employ global best practices towards the engagement of key political and institutional actors across all Government strata to drive or articulate matters of primary importance to our ethnic Nationality geared towards our socio-economic and political positive improvement.

As a new ship loaded with uncountable and lofty goodies, it became very crucial and pertinent to announce her arrival and it's identification components to the general public.

One of the first Elements of our identity is our well designed logo which serves as a symbol of authority to all our official documents and other forms of publications.

Inside this logo there are some well selected components included to signify the following:

*1) THE FIVE MEN:* These five men represent the five Local Government Areas that make up the Oron Federal Constituency. (Oron, Mbo, Urue Offong/Oruko, Okobo and Udung Uko LGAs)

*2) THE ORO LOGO:* As an indigenous people of the Oro Nation with distinct dialect and culture, the Oro Logo gives an easy identification to the general public about our oneness and the phenomenal, greenness, uniqueness, richness, atlantic splendor and authority of the Oro territorial enclave as shown in the Oro Logo.

*3) FOUNTAIN PEN:* Pointing down is the nib of a fountain pen, indicating the mightyness of a pen over the sword, Secondly, being a digital edge pen, it gives a clear information about the digitalisation of data collection and processing in the modern days.

*4) THE RED SLEEVE:* This represents a man with the audacity to say or write the truth, fearlessly, uncompromisingly and rugged/sophisticated in intellectual disposition which is a typical characteristic of an average Oro person.

*5) WHITE CIRCLED BACKGROUND:* The white circled background surrounding the fountain pen signifies, Truth, Transparency, Justice and Equity which are all fruits of the spirit which endears peace and orderliness to any society. Off course these are the major precursors to equitable and sustainable developments.

*6) SOCIAL MEDIA ICON:* The seven Social media icons represent but not limited to different Social media brands we shall explore in our engagement. These include, print, audio, video or audio visual, etc.

*7) THE PINK BACKGROUND:* This signifies the gender friendliness of the group and the Oro people at large. It represents our avowed readiness to engineer socio-economic and political inclusiveness through strategic media engagement, dialogue and collaboration as a veritable tool for sustainable development.
