jimetagambo: Who are the people there or living there...? At a time that land space was split into two Kingdom...! Those occupying it after the Jewish people where taken into exile began to call themselves Palestinians but the question is was there any people known as such when the map you showed was in in vogue? |

Valkrie: The region had the people of Levantine Arabs, Assyrians, Mandaeans, Samaritans, Ethiopians, isrealites (Jews) e.t.c living there. I do not think they called themselves Palestinians until recent times. That name was given by ancient Greeks, Just the way the British gave us (different tribes) the name Nigeria. It was only split into two kingdoms in 1947 by the UN after it was handed over by the British. This was when they needed a place for European Jews (Ashkenazi Jews) after Hitler expelled them from all over Europe and other countries were not willing to accept them even after the end of 2nd world war.
