DRAMA AS IGBO NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS ASSEMBLY SUMMONS APC AND PDP DELEGATES BEFORE JUJU OVER BETRAYAL OF TRUST, VISITS ASWITU AHEAD OF 2023.

Igbo National Stakeholders Assembly, the first group to demand for the rotation of the 2023 Presidency to Igbo land has concluded plans to summon all APC and PDP delegates from Southeast who took apart in the just concluded presidential primary elections before a popular Juju Shrine in Southeast over what it calls betrayal of trust.

Chief John Uche, the President General of Igbo National Stakeholders Assembly (INSA) made this known on June 29, 2022 when he paid a courtesy visit to the President General of Association of Southwest Igbo Town Unions (ASWITU) - Prince Erondu Uche in Akure the Ondo State capital.

The delegates of these two political parties from Southeast had voted against Igbo candidates from Southeast which had given edge to Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubarka of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge as the presidential candidates of APC and PDP respectively.

Chief John noted that the betrayal of such magnitude coming from Igbos who were supposed to have reflected the yearnings of Nigerians for Igbo to produce the next President in 2023 cannot go without punishment. "The delegates we sent to represent us at the presidential primaries of APC and PDP did not only betray us but told the whole world through their selfish, unpatriotic and shameless behavior that they are not worthy to be called Igbos. We have made plans to summon them before a shrine in Southeast over this betrayal of trust. Most of them who we confronted over this taboo denied voting against our sons or collecting money to vote. Through the shrine's judgement, we shall be able to know exactly how many of them that sold us out and we shall recover all the money they collected to the last dime. Finally, we shall place heavy sanction on them to serve as lesson to other bad eggs".

The INSA boss however commended delegates from Ebonyi state, noting that it was only Ebonyi delegates that behaved as real Igbos and not " ndi eriri eri" according to him. He also berated Southeast Governors for their gang up against Southeast. "I wish to commend Ebony delegates especially those in APC for voting their Governor Dave Umahi. Our Southeast Governors are total disappointment to Ndigbo. What they shamelessly displayed was a gang up against Igbo land, history will not be kind to them".

On the activities of Association of Southwest Igbo Town Unions (ASWITU), Chief John Uche said that the whole Igbos every where are pleased with ASWITU. " When we heard that ASWITU suspended its members over non compliance of PVC registration, we were happy. We expect other Igbo groups to follow suit. I want to appreciate Prince Erondu Uche, the President General of ASWITU, he is doing a good job not only in the southwest but globally in protecting Igbo interest. I came with my executive members and some of our Diaspora leaders to pay condolence to him over the owo massacre and also discuss 2023 Presidential election with him". Chief John concluded. He however did not disclose details of their discussion to newsmen.

A source close to ASWITU President General - Prince Erondu disclosed that the ASWITU boss has been receiving several groups from different ethnic groups concerning 2023 general election.
