Their people have been complaining that they have not visited their town since they left for Lagos and others travelled to America and Europe.
They decided to visit their town by road from Lagos to Enugu.

The journey was safe and smooth until they crossed the Niger Bridge and entered Onitsha with houses competing with nauseating stinking heaps of refuse in the filthy town full of dirty traders who don't feel disgusted by their filthy environment.

Going to Enugu from Onitsha was delayed for hours by the bad roads with potholes and craters caused by erosions.
It was already 7pm as their bus was about to enter Enugu when they heard cracks of gunshots.
"Armed robbers!"
"Unknown gunmen!"

The driver pointed at the attackers in front of the bus about 100 metres away.
In desperation, fear and bravery the driver reversed and sped as the gunmen pursued the bus shooting at it.
Many of them in fear and trembling were praying and weeping.
The driver drove to a security checkpoint of the Nigerian Army and the soldiers directed the driver to park in a nearby market
"You are safe there. Stay there till tomorrow morning," the soldiers said.
They passed the night inside the market until daylight.

The bus got to the motor park and they disembarked to go to their respective villages.
One them who wanted to also meet his
fiancée, a student of the University of Nsukka (UNN) said by the time he met her, he had no excitement to enjoy sex with her.

The dangers of the insecurity have become worse and escalated the fears of anyone of them returning to the east.
One of them cannot believe how the governors of the states in the east have become too weak that they cannot stop the Sit-At-Home orders of both the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and other lawless rebellious militias terrorizing the innocent people in the South East. Foreign investors don't want to invest in businesses in the region.
Even Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, a former Governor of Anambra State who grew up in Onitsha prefers to live in Lagos State where he has a mansion close to the home of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the incumbent national ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Majority of the so called "Obidients" are Igbos like Peter Obi who have chosen to live and work in Lagos enjoying the benefits of the socioeconomic policies of the APC government that has made Lagos, the 5th biggest economy in Africa.

Many of the Igbos shouting Obidients cannot live and work in the South East, because of their fears of the insecurity'. Peter Obi lives and works in Lagos and not in his hometown of Onitsha.

If the APC Government has failed like the Igbo governors failed in the South East, Peter Obi and all the Igbos enjoying safe and fast business environment in Lagos would not be in Lagos.
Let them leave Lagos and return to their states of origin.

You cannot bite the fingers feeding you.

They left SE in rags and bondage, returned in riches & freedom.

Thank God for Tinubu, he opened gates of prosperity for Ibos. In Lagos there is no osu or freeborn. Asiwaju is the best. God bless the man.
