BREAKING: Christian Atsu confirmed dead by agent as body discovered in rubble of Turkey earthquake



The previous Premier League footballer, who played for both Newcastle and Chelsea, disappeared following the staggering seismic tremor in Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6.

Former Chelsea and Newcastle footballer Christian Atsu has been found dead following the overwhelming tremor in Turkey, his agent has confirmed this sad news.

His body has been pulled from the rubble of the staggering  tremor in Turkey following a 12-day search, his agent has confirmed this.

Atsu, 31, had been absent since the structure he lived in Hatay, southern Turkey, imploded when the tremor struck the area on February 6.

The former Chelsea and Newcastle winger's delegate, Murat Uzunmehmet, affirmed his body had been tracked down in an explanation on Saturday morning, February 18.
