Zaksart: She has always told us that Nigeria no be am. That the country can never get better. This was when I was in primary school o. So no be today. She has been preaching it as she is well travelled. Then, she would say "Nigerians don't know how to enjoy life", "even with money, you cannot enjoy life in Nigeria", And this is a woman who has money o. Yes, regional government is the best. Let Abuja be weakened, and various states/regions elect leaders that can cater to their needs based on their cultural norms and beliefs. Use their natural resources for themselves, and contribute something to Abuja. Similar to the UK, and a little like the US. That is the only way Nigeria (various constituents) can develop and prosper. The elections in 2015 and a little bit of 2011 taught me lessons that the country is not united, and last I checked, divisive countries never prosper in the long run. Even when they do, they are not safe as prosperous homogenous countries. I don't plan building/buying a house in Nigeria as we have properties already. I rather do Namibia than Benin Republic. I forsee Nigeria fighting another civil war. The case of residents in Ogun fleeing to Benin because of Fulani herdsmen and those in the North East to Cameroon or those in Western Cameroon fleeing to Uyo/Calabar are enough deterrent. I dread countries that have weak immigration policies towards Nigerians. The fewer Nigerias are there, the better. 19 Likes |

Starboytwo: Nonsense point of argument. China has 1.4 billion people yet it is a hundred times more developed than Nigeria. Nigeria has more natural resources than Benin Republic. For goodness sake Nigeria is one of the worldβs top producers of crude oil! Stop making excuses for the failure that Nigeria has become because of bad governance/ leadership. 46 Likes 3 Shares |

We may have some bad eggs or good ones but it's an individual difference. They are simple and very friendly and I can't tag them bad from the little I see but knowing you are a Nigerian makes them believe u are rich and some may look for a way to extort u. Dem de try for waist shaa but can't be compared with Liberians and SA girls. Those two countries get am in excess pass Beninoise. 12 Likes |

techgen:Nigeria wouldn't have been Nigeria without the Almagamation ... It's a Blessing Because Nigeria would have been a war torned Country like Liberia and Sierra due to the number of Minor Tribes/Ethnic groups Concentrated in the Middle belts and SouthSouthern Nigeria with Deep Hatred for themselves.... Nigerdelta couldn't have been a small London but war torned Protectorate of the Oil Companies because the People can't manage themselves and that's what the Problem is all About "Managements Skills" that truly Represents Our Diversity and Uniqueness! Nigerdelta has the most Concentrated of Minor Tribes in Nigeria only Second to North Central/Middle Belts ... The Major Ethnic has helped keep Sanities Over the Minor Ethnic and that's Why Nigeria is Nigeria if not Chaos Would have Ravaged this Country due to Inter and Intra Ethnic/Tribes Conflicts On Lands, Women, Resources Etc...... People no too gather sense like that in these axis ! Nevertheless, the Major Ethnic are Bunch of Failures themselves because we need Strong Leadership over Nigeria and Deeper Internal Almagamation to Butress Our Unity, Growths and Developments .... 15 Likes |

skylane: Wow... So we are in the same ship. That's my major thing am even researching on currently. From the little I know, u must be duly registered here B4 u can operate as a vet. Crop: their major cash crops like the maize and cottons are found large in the north which is very far from here. I learnt that their govt supports their serious farmers with flexible loan offers. Pineapple is farmed around here and it's and very very cheap. U can buy sizeable pineapple at 150cefa. Their orange is very cheap too and very sweet with enough water. Haven't gotten enough info on poultry farming and I see great opportunity there. Local chicken is like gold here...lol. Haven't seen broiler in the market B4. I do see this white kind of cockerel called .... Can't recall the name now. Still trying to get more infos on the agriculture sector 6 Likes |

DonroxyII: I love your knowledge. You are π― right but u can an only achieve this by educating and exposing the people. Lack of the two things I mentioned will make them be thinking otherwise and see development as a scam. When the populace is educated and exposed, it makes understanding easy. Personally I wish for a peaceful and united Nigeria with visionary transparent leaders. Thanks for your contributions bro 7 Likes 1 Share |

skylane: U mean livestock feed or food for human? If it's food, it's relatively cheap if u can cook by yourself. The only place I have eaten food that was satisfied with, eating just a plate of 500cefa is at Misebo market but outside there, it isn't cheap. Any good dedicated chef/cook will Excel here wit peace of mind and less stress |

I loved it when I went there. They are generally happy people. Most francophone African countries are that way though. Life of the party, honest and easy-going. The part of treating women like eggs is correct too. My mum told us a story of how she went to one African country and a new mother came home gloomy. She thought they lost the baby, only for them to tell her the woman had a baby boy. She never got over the shock until she left there. They protect their women. Nigerian men are probably the only ones in Africa that throw their women under the bus, privately and publicly for a cent. Maybe nothing sef. Nigerian youths do not go there because it is for hustlers. These countries are not new to us and some of our uncles/aunties rocked it in the 60s to 90s. It just doesnβt make sense to most youths to go to school and migrate to Benin Republic to sell synthetic weavon and hair oil. 29 Likes 2 Shares |

[quote author=Zaksart post=121183411]Nigeria is a sinking country.... Before now I have been hearing about how many business men buy things in Nigeria and sell over there in Benin republic and making huge returns.... But because it's a french speaking country many people will look the other way or rather because it's a small country besides Nigeria that's why many Nigerians are underrating them. To be sincere many Nigerians are now seeing light at the other end, imagine a small country with everything you need ... Even if Peter Obi becomes president I still see myself leaving this country to somewhere I can enjoy simple basics amenities... Ordinary stability of electricity The Giant of Africa cannot boast of it. Tomorrow which is Nigeria presidential election will have many role to play as regards the future of this generation up coming... As for me and my up coming family I am done with Nigeria for good ... Would never allow my children go through the evil I went through here while growing up. Please if I may ask.... Can you elaborate more on how to get shops for business... Can you give us some pictures of other business over there .... Would love to see pictures Bro. [I need to relate with u outside this forum how possible is it] 1 Like |

There's so much opportunities in Benin republic and I'll be talking about one today. While growing up we understand that Cotonou is the harbor of good used cars, I even have some friends that got there own cars back then from there. But one thing a lot of us doesn't know is that Benin republic has room for sales of electronics gadgets and appliance. You see Benin republic, Togo and Ghana is a place you can sell electronics at double or almost double the price you bought your electronics. But today I'll be focusing on phone sales... This info is coming from an experience electronics and phone repairs engineer. Do you know that used iphone6 that's been sold here at 35/40k goes for as much as 70/75k in Benin, Togo or Ghana... I even overhead a colleague telling me same old iphone6 goes for 100k in Ghana. Last year I sold used uk iphone6 for 85k Cefa... That was even when naira has a lil bit of value, but now as you all must have heard Cefa is now superior than Naira in the black market. I get my used phones or laptop directly from warehouse in Lagos immediately the goods are been offloaded and go to Benin republic to make sells... I am bringing this information here because I'll need a partner that's interested in investing and who's interested so in learning how or where to buy and sale too. I have invested a lot in yam farming at the beginning of the year and currently short of cash, so for those of you interested in investing please buzz me on WhatsApp at +2349050380553 let's make some good cash. As I am preparing to enter Benin for business this march... Buzz me let's share profits. Thanks. 5 Likes |

pansophist:You are very correct. I first visited Cote d'Ivoire in 1987, and Abidjan looked very organised like a European city with wide boulevards. Yoruba business men and women were, and are still one of the most dominant there especially from among the indigenous Yorubas of Nigeria, Benin and Togo who are into cocoa business or wholesale and retail trading for more than 100 years now. I stopped underrating other African countries from then on. 21 Likes 5 Shares |

XAUBulls: Yes. People from the ivory coast, for example, are not even trying to leave their country like Nigerians, that should tell you something, Their passport does not need transit through EU airports, and goes to more countries such as Singapore, unlike Nigerian passport. Until Nigerians removed the mindset that it must be a white manΕ country, they will miss other good places which are easily accessible and doesnt cost much. Of course target the west, its way better, but if you cant achieve that, neighbouring countries are good. 22 Likes 3 Shares |
