Very true indeed. I think its a systemic problem. When would companies start focusing on ability to do and knowledge rather than using age, grade and other excuses to DENY themselves the opportunity of getting the best guy for the job. I mean why reject someone if he can do the job well and bring in profits?. I heard recently that a bank is trying to peg their entry age limit now at 23. YES 23. Bottomline? the system(education, law enforcement, social services, ) is messed up. Bottomline?? we need to empower ourselves, develop our intellect, strengthen our hands and sharpen our minds. It is not a crime to get called up(NYSC) at 28 graduate at 26/27 after staying in school for 6/7 years (depending on your school and the mood ASUU is) adding also the 2 years spent waiting for JAMB, but it is a crime to sit back and let them not realise what a gem stone they overlooked how flawed their recruiting process is and why they will never get the 'best hands'. Let us get the jobs to look for us. CHEERS.
