In Lagos, If You Look Wealthy And Fresh, They Will Say You Look Like Igbo - Sisi Yemmie | #IgbereTV Many Yoruba, Ijaw, Bini, Calabar, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom people were not allowed to vote because 'they looked like Igbo'. Once you look fresh, clean, and wealthy, they will say you are an Igbo. But if you look unkempt, they will agree that you are a Yoruba. Weeks before the 2023 presidential elections, I stated on a few threads here that the 2023 election (especially the presidential) was a battle between EDUCATION vs. ILLITERACY. Some folks shouted me down and even insulted me for daring to make such statement. But obviously I was right! The educated and enlightened population regardless of tribe, ethnicity or religion, largely voted OBI, while the uneducated, the agberos and most rural dwellers (mainly uneducated) voted Tinubu and Atiku. This bizarrely unfortunate trend was amplified in the Lagos governorship election where state sponsored and illiterate louts/agberos violently prevented people who LOOKED educated or LOOKED tidy from voting on the assumption that they must be LP supporters. The leadership problem in Nigeria clearly isnt ending any time soon, especially given the sheer population of the uneducated. 5 Likes 1 Share |
