The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State Chapter has commenced registration for the 3rd SWAN/Security and Safety Cup tagged: VALUE JET/SWAN Security Cup Competition.

The SWAN/Security Cup is an annual football competition organized by the association to strengthen existing relationship among various security agencies in state.

The success of the competition since inception two years ago has continued to receive commendations from various stakeholders in the sports sector.

According to the Chairman, Planning Committee of the competition, Alhaji Hakeem Akintunde, registration for the competition commencing from August 1 to 5th September, 2023.

The competition according to Akintunde will commence on September 21, 2023.

He urged all security agencies in the state to obtain their form at the SWAN office in Abeokuta.

Akintunde charged all participating agencies to begin early preparation for a good football display during the competition, advising them to abide by the rules of the competition.
