I do not miss foreign food when in Naija. Rather i am desperate to have a taste of various kinds of Naija meals that i have been craving for since i have been overseas. No place like home; the real home i mean. Maybe with time this attachment to Naija food would slowly subside. |

it depends, i live in the uk, all african foods are here. we mainly eat african food. e.g this afternoon i had garri and moi moi. but wen in naija i cant run into pizza hut for a quick slice and i miss that. if u live in some european countries then i can understand not getting alot of african food. and the taste of cheap lambrini wine, i can never get over that. |

Re: Food's You Miss When In Nigeria. by snowdrops(m): 10:42am On Oct 23, 2011 |
iice:Why would you binge on naija food? 1. weight watcher? 2. time in naija so short that you have to have a taste of everything? 3. worried about the quality of food? |
Re: Food's You Miss When In Nigeria. by Nobody: 1:57am On Oct 24, 2011 |
I don't miss any food, if i really want imported food it can always been found at goody's or other higher end places, I eat so little when i'm in nja because the food is so freaking delicious. i love street food and as long as the food is HOT you have very little chance of getting food poisoning, food poisoning mostly happens with diary (Nigerians don't typically cook with it) and cold foods like potato salad, againt, not a typical nja problem |
