Lahore Fort was built in 1021 AD, and the city walls were entirely made of huge reddish-brown rocks. There are pavilions, fountains, ponds and gardens in the fort. The most famous attraction in the castle is the “Mirror Palace” in the northeast corner. This was buidt by King Shah Jahan for his queen.
