Obasanjo did his best but the North wii not let it be.
No decision can be taken to move Nigeria forward that will work unless the North supports it. The entire South is a pawn in the hands of the North.
Any decision to move Nigeria forward will definitely not favour the north, as they are the suck babies of this contraption; Nigeria.
They get 60% of every tax collected in the south
60% of electricity generated goes to the north, despite not paying for the light bill there.
They get admitted to universities with jamb scores of 65/400, while a brilliant southern student is not even guaranteed admission with a 300/400 score.
They are leeches to the Nigerian State. That's why, to them, it is one Nigeria or nothing. They exploit their own minerals resources illegally and take the elephant share from contributions from the south. his best, but the north will not let it be.

Re: We Need A New Generation Of Leaders – Obasanjo by Scientheosopher(m): 1:51pm On Jun 02
Says the man who was the major reason pGEJ lost to pMB shocked

Yes, pGEJ erred in the way he handled the Chibok girls issue, etc. But pOBJ should have known, considering, for example, his strong and rich military background, that these incidences were largely initiated by certain devilish desperate elements who wants to take power from his political son. So he shouldn't have written that letter and torn his PDP membership card. Because the person who would likely take over from pGEJ is a known disaster!

And as long as APC remains in power, there will be no new better leaders.

Exacrl. Where was state policing under OBJ and where was his fundamental reform of our archaic and inadequate security architecture?

Where was greater regional autonomy, crucial to the development of Nigeria, under OBJ?

Where was the effort, as Tinubu is doing now, to empower local government and make them vital change agent they can be towards Nigeria becoming a developed nation?

Can we talk about how subsidy scamming of Nigeria, that Tinubu has now bravely tackled, was highest under OBJ and literally creating subsidy scam billionaires daily?

I could go on all day suffice to say this is why many, especially intellectually and discerning Nigerians, despise OBj.

They find his hypocrisy nauseating as he did not touch a single fundamental reform, when Nigeria needed so many under him, yet he is always critical of every successor after him.

Very selfish and egotistic man who wants everything to be about him and him alone.
You really understand the narcissistic agbaya elder statesman.

You are only praising obj because he hasn't said anything against that incompetent religious bigot from agulu.
The day he say anything against obi is the day he will automatically become a bad person to you people.

I c an still remember how you people were praising professor Wole Soyinka when he joined in the fight for your imaginary Biafra.

Hypocrites!

Baba Obj can never say anything bad about Obi because the man is sensible enough to know there's absolutely nothing bad to say about him. Only you brainwashed delusional APC dimwits, charlatans and shenanigans who cannot think for themselves swallowed that nonsense and have been flying everywhere with it.

As for your fraudPhessor, we all know who he is, what he represents and what he stands for.

Stop disturbing us OBJ. You should have done all this when you were president twice. Rather you are looking for 3rd term I bet you if Nigerians should tell obj to be president again he will accept and Here he is calling for young to lead. OBJ destroyed the country

Which foundation for corruption did he lay?
Corruption started in 1999?
and if indeed he did, must the others build on the foundation?
And who are the so called "corrupt free" founding fathers anyway?
In all his evil, people faired better under him.

Don't mind the yeye man. When he had the opportunity of returning Nigeria to regional govt in 1979, he gave us this unitary system that is progress limiting.

Posterity will be very kind to this honest man. He seems to be one elder statesman that genuinely want a new and prosperous Nigeria

Not that whiteheaded fraudPhessor and his gang of evil BatAria and Ebola that only want to destroy everything while pretending to their gullible imbecilic followers like they care.

He's not a honest man. But then he's the best we've gotten so far in terms of management. Even as sub average as is.

Gej and Yar'Adua are the best we got in terms of making strong institutions. Even as sub average as they were.

APC remains the worst thing to happen to Nigeria since this current republic.

You are posting garbage.
10 years from now you will find articles online that Buhari created and commissioned Nigerian Air to back whatever you are claiming, I'm sure we can see Nigerian Air flying around now because there are articles to back it up.
What about ALSCON that he sold to some ghost Russians who made proposal in Russian language and for a price way lesser than what a Nigerian coalition offered and won from the bidding before OBJ reversed it?
What about Railways and Airways?
What about the deàth of textile industries, manufacturers folding up, Ajaokuta steel mines, NITEL etc etc the list is endless.
