The livestock farming is presently a very profitable business to venture into in Nigeria.

Livestock entails the rearing of animals for the purpose of commercial or personal consumption.
why livestock farming?
Proteins is one of the most important nutrients when it comes to food consumption, meat is the major source of protein and you can get meat from

Goats
Rams
Cattle’s
Chicken
Rabbit
Fish
Camel
Horses
Etc.

The world today is currently populated with about 8billion people and they all need to burn calories to work, the by product of the energy that is being exerted for work is called calories.

The world needs

Cereals
Protein din large quantity to meet up with calorie demand. Let’s us come back to Nigeria, with a population of about 200m people the need for meat consumption is increasing. About 50-60 trucks loaded with livestock enters into the Lagos cattle markets daily.
