On Monday, June 11, the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria made an announcement via its official X (formerly known as Twitter) page. The announcement introduced a fresh scholarship opportunity from the Government of Vietnam targeted at Nigerian students who have excelled in the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) examinations.

This initiative, labeled “VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY-INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (VNU-IS) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMMES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025,” aims to strengthen educational collaboration and provide financial support to deserving Nigerian students.
