Ajayi Crowther University Gets NUC Accreditation for 11 Courses 2024. Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) has received full accreditation status for eleven additional programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC). The accreditation, effective from June 6, 2024, spans seven faculties and highlights the university’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards.

Accreditation Process
The accreditation process was based on Section 10 (1) of the Education (National Minimum Standard and Establishment of Institution) Act, CAP E3, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, which authorizes the NUC to set minimum academic standards and accredit programmes in Nigerian universities. The NUC conducted thorough evaluations and assessments of the programmes at ACU between October and December 2023.
