This is my first time here
I’m studying a four year course, mass communication
In my first year I had a cgpa of 3.48 but I had some carryovers in my 200lv and my cgpa fell drastically and has refused to add up no matter how hard I try
My 300lv first semester cgpa is now 2.82 with a gpa of 3.12, though second semester result isn’t out yet
I just entered final year, Do I still have hope of graduating with second class upper
Please I need advice

It's not possible. Your ability is in 2:2. Just try and maintain it

Just pray and work hard so that you don't go below 2:2.

Forget about 2.1, just try to improve your cgpa to 3.0 plus.

Don't aim too high before you slip into depression at this stage. Nothing is wrong graduating with 2.2, it doesn't determine how successful you become though it has added advantage. Just work hard.

Try and avoid anymore carryovers if you have one.

No you cannot, just try to not go below 2:2, that’s the best you can do.

yes you can.... if you can do 4.0 in your remaining 3 semesters beliving that its a 4year course.

to get 4.0, you Need B parrels in all your course or where u score less than B, you argument with A somewhere

If your CGPA is truly 3.12 as a final year student, then, I make bold to say that your chances of making 2'1 are very slim if not impossible.

However, you shouldn't freak out because it's not over until it's over.

Can I do masters abroad if I get 2:2

You’re not likely going to graduate with a 2.1.
If you work hard, you can get 2.2 which is not bad to be honest.
Augment your certificate by learning some sellable skills and certifications.

Absolutely you can if you have the money, my friends did masters abroad with their 2.2 they had from Nigerian universities. Just avoid carryovers and try to get it above 3.0 you will be fine.

Don't ever pressure yourself because your friends are on 4.0 plus cgpa, I have had someone who went this road because sof very poor cgpa , yours is even very high compared to hers she slide into depression. Count it all joy for the journey so far, trust me you will be fine and 5 years from now you will understand that it's not worth crying for .

Just put more effort to Cross the 3.0 mark and remain in that place at least. Kudos
