APGA Chieftain, Obigwe, Slams Ifeanyi Ubah Over Security Comments

Chinedu Obigwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has lambasted Senator Ifeanyi Ubah for politicizing security issues in Anambra State.

In a statement issued on Tuesday in Awka, Obigwe accused Ubah of attempting to create a false impression that he can provide security for the people of Anambra State.

Obigwe described Ubah's claims as "clueless" and "blackmail antics" aimed at discrediting the Soludo administration.

He criticized Ubah's business record, citing his alleged role in ruining the futures of young men, mismanaging borrowed funds, and nearly wrecking the businesses of prominent entrepreneurs, including the Coscharis boss and Gaɓros.

"The fact that Ifeanyi Ubah is politicizing security issues in Anambra State is a clear indication of his desperation to remain relevant in the political landscape.
"His antecedents are well known, and it's shocking that he has the audacity to present himself as a security expert," Obigwe said.

Obigwe expressed pity for anyone who falls for Ubah's "moonlight tale" of providing security for Anambra people, given his questionable past.

"It's unfortunate that some individuals are gullible enough to believe Ubah's false promises," he said.

While Ubah has been critical of the government's handling of security, the administration has accused him of playing politics with sensitive issues.
