Princess-Anne Emeka-Obiajunwa, a Nigerian scholar, has graduated with distinction and ranked among the top three in her Master of Science in Management program at the prestigious Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in the United Kingdom (UK).

Nottingham Trent University is renowned for its excellence, consistently ranking first in employability in the UK and earning a Gold rating for teaching in both evaluations conducted. Between 2017 and 2023, NTU has won the University of the Year award five times.

During the graduation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of NTU, Professor Edward Peck CBE, praised Mrs. Obiajunwa for her outstanding achievement and emphasized that she has undergone significant personal transformation during her studies, preparing her for the next steps in her career.

Professor Peck also highlighted NTU's continuous adaptation and expansion to provide first-class facilities and Gold standard teaching, which have consistently earned the university recognition and awards. He said:

"I want to congratulate you all on the occasion of your graduation. Today is your day, a time to reflect on your achievements. It is also a moment to recognize the people who have supported you along the way: your family members and your tutors. They will be watching with pride, having invested so much in your journey.

"The new Design and Digital Arts building is ready to open to students in September. At our Clifton Campus, our Health and Allied Professions Centre has also opened, featuring mock hospital wards, consultation and counselling rooms, creative teaching spaces, and specialist equipment. Our new Postgraduate Centre at the heart of Nottingham city centre is now welcoming students.

"You are now members of our alumni community. Our doors remain open to all our graduates around the world. Keep in touch with us because our support extends well beyond the completion of your course.

"As NTU alumni, you have access to dedicated employability support, as well as a range of exclusive events and networking opportunities.

"As your careers gather pace, think of the ways you could inspire future generations of students by joining our Alumni and Industry Fellowship Programme, offering guest lectures and mentoring, placement opportunities, and careers guidance. In time, you might choose to help fund our scholarships, bursaries, and research", the Vice Chancellor concluded.

In response, Mrs. Emeka-Obiajunwa expressed gratitude for the privilege and honor of excelling academically. She remarked:

"When people hear that Nigerians get distinction, it's easy to dismissively think it is because studying abroad must be easy. I once thought so until I came and thankfully conquered. I'm grateful for the chance to connect with intellects from all over the world and specifically for how NTU has rigorously drilled and improved my research, reflection, and critical reasoning skills."

Princess Anne's educational journey spans institutions such as the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Faith College of Arts and Theology, Lagos; the Scottish Centre of Neurolinguistic Programming, UK; Liverpool John Moores University, UK; and now, Nottingham Trent University, UK.

She continuously enhances her intellect to be effective in her roles in ministry, education, and business.

As an accomplished author and founder of The Birthplace Empowerment Foundation, a faith-based NGO, Princess Anne impacts young people through mentorship, conferences, and discipleship. The Birthplace has helped young girls heal from sexual and emotional abuse and empowered over ten thousand people in impoverished communities across Nigeria through community outreaches. More information about her work can be found on her website www.anneemkaobiajunwa.com and on her social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.

Although of Abia State origin, Princess Anne is happily married to Comrade Emeka Obiajunwa from Imo State, an Executive Director at Perez Spring Globals, a business mogul and data analyst.###
