We know forces will surely rise against you but you will surely triumph over them. All we cared is that very soon importation of all the products will be reduced |

TheDemola: Na Farouk Ahmed - CEO of the govt establishment, who was thinking for Nigerians,as he wants the Dangote-Refinery and Others Local Refineries -Not to be patronised because he is enjoying the importations of Fuel from Foreigners. This man should be Removed immediately by govt. Most of them have their loyalty to foreign companies through proxy and don't gives a damn about the Nigerian Projects,as they see Dangote-as threats to their Positions and Interest. How many Employments is he generating in that Post of a govt Company? His claim that Dangote-Refinery will not be enough, but has he tested it,by supplying enough Crude to Dangote Refinery.? This man is an enemy of Nigeria- by patronising the Importations of Refined Oil,than Local Refineries and his appointment should be terminated. Can Nigerians see the Agents and what Dangote already said that ' Most African Countries don't want to Established the Refinery because they want to be Patronising Foreigners goods over Local ones' for easy rides. This is just one of them- NMDPRA- CEO, should be Fired,as he has nothing to Offer Nigeria. •President Tinubu should find a replacement for him immediately and Others in NNPC, and that is why they don't want Nigeria to Produce her Crude Oil Locally! When you Produce and refined Oil Locally, you brings - Fuel,Kerosine,AGO( Black Oil- for Industrial Uses),the Aviation Fuel, the Fertilisers, the Cream,etc- for both Exports and local uses, FOREX will flow in, thousands and Millions of Employments will be generated! The CEO of this establishment should be booted out by President Tinubu, together with the Directors in NNPC,as they are likely to be having same Mindsets and the Youths and Nigerians have seen the kind of People in Corridor of many Govts Parastatals now . This is how they behaved when in govt Parastatals, they becomes Parasites. Very Shameful and Unpatriotic set of People 2 Likes 1 Share |

PSmurf:You didn't answer the question at all. Anyways, news in April suggested Dangote Refinery crashed the price of diesel and jet fuel in Nigeria. Another article published on May 30th, 2024 claimed that the Dangote refinery had shipped what it referred to as jet fuel cargo to Europe. But today we learn the following about the same refinery. The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has said that the Nigerian government was yet to license the Dangote refinery to begin operations in the country. So, exactly how is Dangote Refinery able to churn out so much product when the same man says he is unable to obtain crude for his refinery and additionally we are told the company has no operating license in Nigeria still. https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/market-insights/latest-news/oil/053024-nigerias-dangote-refinery-ships-first-jet-fuel-cargo-to-europe

Kobojunkie:If he's a scammer, let the Government prosecute him, not all these campaign of calumny. We need the only refinery we have to work so the price of Pms can come down. I DON'T know Dangote personally nor is he my family member. My interest is for Nigerians to pms @ a lower price and the other way forward for now as it seems, is with DANGOTE. |

adabaraabdul:Prosecute him for running the script probably given to him by the government to run the minds of the Nigerian people with? Do you think the government that engaged in oil swaps to obtain the purported 13 billion dollars that it invested in the refinery is not aware of what is going on? 2. As is, the cost fo fuel is still being subsidized. Dangote plans to sell his diesel at around Naira 1000 per liter. So, I ain't sure what you are talking about. https://www.dangote.com/again-dangote-crashes-diesel-and-aviation-fuel-prices-further-to-n940-n980-respectively/ |

Though I never like the guy, but wetin you don build? We blacks are behave like judas, we are always instrumental on bringing another blacks down. The same dangote that ur government is cunningly refuse to sell crude oil to, and still came out to say he produces poor product. Continue supporting rubbish |

deenee:The other refineries are not out blaming the same people Dangote dey blame though. 2. So what you are saying is that even the news reports which claim the following ● Dangote Refinery had shipped Jet fuel cargo to the EU, Dangote has never shipped anything out from his refinery ● Since April 8, Dangote has exported six jet fuel/kerosene cargoes, all of which have been delivered to Senegal, Togo, or Ghana. are false? Dangote refinery marks milestone with first Jet fuel shipment to Europe 3. Interesting! |
Re: Dangote Defends Product Quality, Says Diesel 80% Better Than Imported Product by Kobojunkie: 6:50am On Jul 20 |
deenee:You are right. How many billions did Emefiele say that Nigeria in fact invest in the refinery? Was it $13 billion instead? The following was recorded of Emefiele “Today, total loans outstanding have dropped from over $9 billion when this project started to $2.7 billion. This reflects the astute credit worthiness and commercial capability of the group and its chairman, Alhaji Dangote. |

Dangote avoided saying sulfur ppt in his diesel. He simply said a lower amount. Can we get an independent lab result? As I wrote earlier, I recently bought diesel that messed up my vehicle, just few kilometres after buying a full tank of 100l. Was it imported or locally made diesel, I do not know. The diesel looked clean and transparent. In a red bucket, I could see through the diesel to the bottom of bucket. It messed up my injectors. |

Kobojunkie: I do not think i am the one that question should be directed to. My own is to buy as a consumer and not have to suffer having to carry out expensive repairs on my equipment. As I said, I do not know the source of the diesel if imported or local, all I know was that it messed up my vehicle. 1 Like |

People, don't you think there are things behind the scenes we aren't aware of? I think Dangote shouldn't have Monopoly in the petroleum sector and other players shouldn't tell lies or misinform the public. All parties should come out clear. |

Re: Dangote Defends Product Quality, Says Diesel 80% Better Than Imported Product by nedekid: 8:01am On Jul 20 |
Kobojunkie:You are right, it should be that way, but here in naija, it will be a waste of time. I actually went to the filling station I bought the diesel, as I am in the habit of buying from just one place, both for petrol and diesel, to enable me know the source of any problems. Anyway, they said their diesel was good and they used the same fuel to power their generators. The maintainance company I use actually checked my tank and said it was clean, ie no water, dirt in the tank. I observed the diesel to be unlike the previous dirty dark colour we normally buy. As I said it looked transparent, just like diesel you will buy in UK. My point is if the diesel looked clean, but still spoilt my vehicle, that means it has to do with the composition, hidden things like "sulfur" content. Back to your question, except you can show eg water in your vehicle tank, then, report them to DPR to come and inspect the petrol station and confirm the source of the water to be their pump, it will be hard to get any compensation. 1 Like |

nedekid: The question is did the diesel you bought negatively affects the machine you use it to powered, if not, then it is good. As for the government agency condemning Dangote Refinery's products, the management has refuted the allegation, saying the agency management are likely benefitting from the importation of petroleum products into the country, and wishes it to continue. Besides how can the products of a company that are being imported to advanced countries abroad be as bad as the agency are portraying them, does that not negate their condemnation? There are many illegalities and corruption being committed in the Nigerian petroleum regulatory bodies, all of them need to be completely audited and overhauled by Tinubu government for sanity to reign there. |
