George Stinney Jr. was executed in the electric chair on June 16, 1944, at the age of 14, making him the youngest person to be executed in the United States in the 20th century. He was convicted of the murder of two young white girls, Betty June Binnicker, 11, and Mary Emma Thames, 7, in Alcolu, South Carolina.

Nice one,but even if his defence counsel was experienced,he still deserved the electric chair.
The murder of two innocent little girls is a grevious crime.
Thank God he was stopped just in time by execution.
If he had been sentenced to prison,he would find a way to escape and begin a full fledged career in serial killing.
Though at the time, the wind of RACISM was blowing hard across the US then especially in the Southern States, but experiencing racism is not an excuse to go murdering innocent little girls.
At the time this event occurred ,Jim Crow laws which mandated racial segregation and were made in the South,were in full force.
These laws remained in force till 1965.They were state and local laws introduced in the Southern US in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

If he really killed those girls then, I see nothing wrong
